Shortly before 8:30am EST, Meowmy got some very sad news. Auntie Barbi called Meowmy to tell her that our dear furiend Cocoa had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He will always be a special part of my furmily and always in each heart. He left some big pawprints in each of those hearts. We are all still in shock. Please remember Auntie Barbi and Unkie Rob and all of Cocoa's sad siblings that he left behind to mourn and miss him. Cocoa was and is very special to my meowmy... she always loved to hear his cute little meows (sometimes very loud) as he chatted when Auntie Barbi and Meowmy were on the phone chatting. Rest in Peace, dear and special furiend. You will never be far from our hearts. We LOVE you, Cocoa. Fire and I were part of the welcoming party as you arrived at the Rainbow Bridge.
I received more lovely birthday gifties after retiring for the evening last night.

I really want to thank all my furiends for sharing so much love for me for my birthday. All the comments, pmails and gifties made me feel furry special. My pawty at the Bridge was so much fun. So many furiends were there to help me celebrate my 12th birthday in grand style. Thank you all so furry much. I love each of you so much.
I am celebrating my 12th birthday today. I know that this day holds lots of sadness for my meowmy and earth furmily but, at the same time, so much joy. Meowmy often talks to me and tells me how much my short time with her meant and what a special impact I made on her. She tells me that she thinks of me daily and that in her heart I am and will always be alive. She misses being awakened every morning by me. I would pounce on her and give her headbutts. Then I would softly paw at her eyes. I needed to see them open so that she would get up and feed me. I was fascinated with eyes for some reason and would often get right up in Meowmy's face and watch her eyes. That made her smile... always. She thought I was trying to get inside her head... you know, I think I just may have done that. I know I got into her heart furever.
I will be pawtying with my furiends at the Bridge today but I will also be stopping by to check on my earth furmily often. I want them to feel my spirit around them today especially.

I kept watch over my meowmy today. She went outside late in the afternoon and cleaned the weeds and leaves from my grave. She talked to me a long while and I saw her tears. I tried to give her a kiss to help her hurting heart.
I have had a wonderful day with my furiends at the Bridge. They have all been so sweet and I am so full and the celebrations were alot of fun.
