Arrival Story: My daughter and I went to the pound in the next county to see what kittens were available for adoption. We were planning to add a 3rd cat. The original intent was to adopt a grey tabby similar to our cat Fire who had passed away in 1987 at the age of almost 17 years. We spotted Mojo who was perfect. She was a very tiny kitten weighing in at only 1 pound. We could hold her in the palm of our hand and she was the size of our daughter's Beanie Babies. Our dilema was that another cat had caught our attention and eye. We solved that problem by coming home with both of the kittens that day.
Well, I have to tell all my furiends that my meowmy pulled a fast one on me. First, she told me that I was going back to the doc doc tomorrow for another check on my urine. Then, today she and my dad went out for breakfast and she came home and told me I was going to see the doc doc today because we may have some freezing tomorrow and icy spots because it is raining. Right now it is only 34 degrees so it is furry possible that we could have ice BUT I ask you all... IS it FAIR to pull a fast one on me? I think NOT.
Anyway, I was put in the prison carrier and hauled off to the doc doc despite my purrtesting. They tried to get my urine but I was NOT giving it up for any reason. I thought I was being smart but it backfired. Guess what? They kept me for the day to get my urine. How rude. Maybe next time I should cooperate.
The good news is that my antibiotics did the trick. My UTI is gone and so are my crystals!!!!!! Yay!!!! Now I can continue to eat what I like.
However, big mouth Meowmy told the doc doc about my clear throw up and they decided to do another test with MY blood to see if the pancreatitis was still an issue. Again, the good news is that I am fine. I did hear the doc doc tell my meowmy that if my throwing up fluid continues to let her know.
When Meowmy got home with me... just a little past 5... she said she was having a glass of wine to celebrate my good news and my DDP honor. I am not sure that is fair because now I want to know what I get to celebrate?
I was furry pleased to awaken to the news that I am one of today's DDP honorees. My furiend Jules Vern Jnr is also one of todays picks and it is special to be honored with a sweet furiend.

I am still eating in a so-so manner but I am still eating. I have to go back to the doc doc tomorrow to have my urine checked to see if I still have crystals. I finished my antibiotic earlier this week. My doc doc wanted to try antibiotics first to see if that helped but said if I still have crystals, I will have to go on another food to help with dissolving those naughty crystals.
I have been taking it easy since my last diary entry. Meowmy says she thinks I am getting too thin. I keep telling her that I haven't felt like eating a lot of food. I do still have an appetite so she should be happy with that.
Today, in the middle of the day, I was in the catputer room with my meowmy and some of my siblings and I started to throw up some fluid. I did it two times. I know I have caused my meowmy to be a little concerned. She said she will keep an eye on me and if I continue to do this, she will take me back to the doc doc before my recheck is scheduled. She is hoping it is not that bad old pancreatitis making another visit.
