Arrival Story:
I spotted Princess at the pound when I first spotted Prince. I had hoped that someone would adopt her but when I went back, she was still there with a euthanization date. I just could not bear to see this kitten not get a home so I adopted her and brought her home.
Bio:
In the beginning, Princess was with the whole zoo crew and all was well. We went on a vacation and left her with the others for our trusted neighbors to feed and water. When we returned from our trip, we noted that Princess was NOT getting along with the other cats in the home. This went on for some time and then we discovered that she had crystals in her urine and would require "special" food. So, we decided to put her upstairs in one of the rooms so she could have her needed quiet time. We have tried from time to time to bring her back down with the group to no avail. We have, also, taken the others up to her room, one at a time... she is NOT happy when that happens. I guess she just likes her quiet time. So we visit her daily and spend some time with her. She is very happy living like this.

Yesterday was my 11th birthday. My meowmy was so busy that she did not do anything for me. *makes a sad face* I received lovely gifties, messages and a purrty birthday picture from Tundra. Thank you to those who celebrated my birthday so beautifully.

Today is very sad for me. My precious Mouse made his unexpected journey to the Rainbow Bridge. My meowmy received a call from Mouse's mom this morning, barely 3 hours after Mouse made his sad journey. We are all completely devastated but we know that his meowmy and daddy are touched the deepest of all. I don't know what I will do without my earthly Mouse but I know he will watch over me and over others precious furiends. I shall look for his star in sky tonight. I know it will be the brightest one shining. Mouse was and is my knight in shining armor and is my only and my forever love. I know that we will be reunited one day. Until that day, I want my precious Mouse to know how much I love him.
In February of 2011, we thought that Mouse would soon be going to the Bridge but we were so happy that it was not his time. We have more than a year longer with Mouse. I am so grateful for that extra time with him.
Mouse and I would have celebrated our 2nd anniversary in a little over a week, on July 7. I was blessed with the best furhusband a girl could ever have. I know Mouse will be with me on our anniversary. My heart is always with him. Please let his family know how much you care about him. It is a very, very sad day for his family and for us.

Holy Kitty Kats! Meowmy did it again. She ALMOST forgot my birthday today and she almost forgot that it is my sisfur Baby G's birthday, too. She claims she has had too much on her mind of late.. but can't she read the calendar? Pffffffttttt.... Baby G and I should plot our revenge now.
Meowmy has been anxiously awaiting a call about Prince from the oncologist that our doc doc contacted after the lymphoma diagnosis we received on him on Monday. I think she is getting "ditzy" in her aging process. Then, on top of that, my dad called to tell Meowmy that his mother had a visit with the human doc doc and that she needed to be there. You see, my dad is on a trip to Arizona to see my human sisfur and my human nephew and then to join up with his work furiends to tour the Grand Canyon and Red Rocks and other Arizona sites. Meowmy was still in her pajamas when my dad called and had less than a half hour to get dressed and meet Grandma's transport bus at the doc's. Meowmy was NOT a happy camper with the short notice. Dad is furgetful... but he has always been furgetful... Meowmy says her brain it overloaded. Hmmmmppptttttt.....
I want to thank Teddy and the Kit Kat Club for my birthday greetings, Mr. Sam for my beautifur bouquet of tulips and birthday message and Tessa and furmily for my neat baseball and birthday greetings. You are all so nice to remember me on my birthday.
