To wrestle with the others. Sit on top of the trash can on the deck.
Does not like to be put on his back.
Mice, mice and more cat nipped mice. Also the real mice too.

Tried to play with 3 grown labs at once and he survived!!!
indoors and outdoors
After a storm, my son Donald heard something and went outside and found this cute little one eating at the catfood bowl. It took a little while to catch him, but he immediately responded to our care. Because of his white paws, he was named Socks. He was about 7 weeks old. Since the last litter were about 10 weeks old, he fit in with the clan. Patches babied him. Socks has been neutered.
August 9, 2008 Socks crossed the bridge today, I was with him all the way. After a week of trying to fight back from a brain injury (cause unknown) and seizures it was determined that his quality of life had greatly decreased. He will be greatly missed.
Socks has quite an extended family. Oreo, Bow Tye, Scaredy, Patches, Fluffee, Star, Titi, Bear, Lulu, Lila, Boss, Tiger and Kitt. There are the Bidwell cousins who visist: Mau and Mo.

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came—
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
The Chestnuts came in yellow,
The Oaks in crimson dressed;
The lovely Misses Maple
In scarlet looked their best;
All balanced to their partners,
And gaily fluttered by;
The sight was like a rainbow
New fallen from the sky.
Then, in the rustic hollow,
At hide-and-seek they played,
The party closed at sundown,
And everybody stayed.
Professor Wind played louder;
They flew along the ground;
And then the party ended
In jolly "hands around."

I was thinking again about you Soxie. Yesterday was 3 years ago that I brought you home from the vets and it was for the last time. I thought it was the beginning of many more years for you to be with us; but that was not to be my boy.
Then the next day, Friday, you had an awful seizure. You were so frightened and I was scared. The vet kept you and told me to call him back. I remember holding you in my arms, knowing it would be the last time on that Saturday.
Yesterday there were a lot of butterflies on the deck. I am still looking for your special one. That one that is different from the others. I did get a butterfly kiss on the 4th. I know that one was from you. I was walking along the road and several purple butterflies flew up, one brushed my face. :)
I was just now outside thinking of that last evening together with you, as you and I watched that huge moth. I love you my Soxie, with every teardrop.

I was sitting here remembering how we spent the last evening before you were injured. We watched the moth, a large one, while you sat on your trashcan. It is hard to believe that it was 3 years ago tonight.
I still miss you Soxie.
Please sprinkle angel dust over the family tomorrow. It is the anniversary of when my little sister Libby died in '71. I know it will be hard for Grandma and Grandpa, with Aunt Debi leaving us this year. As they remember Libby, who was almost 4, they will be thinking about Debi too.
I will be looking for your butterfly and sending you lots of love my Sweet Boy.
