Tabby and White
His mummy and teasing the other cats. He also had a fetish for leather and loved to smell at leather shoes and bags and scratched them!
He didn't really have any.
A little furry mouse he could carry in his mouth.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Anywhere and everywhere as long as there was company.
Hills Science diet and fresh fish.
Retrieving mice and balls.
indoors and outdoors
I fostered Vivaldi for a local rescue group (then later couldn't part with him)! He was found in a quiet country lane when a motorist saw something move in the grass. He was only 7 weeks old and had a broken hip, probably after being thrown from a car. Even though in pain he was just so lovable and seemed so happy to have been found. He had a plate put in his hip and looked like a little skinned rabbit. He was supposed to be on cage rest but hated being by himself so I had to take him out and he just adored watching the other cats and having plenty of cuddles. When he went back to the vets for a check up and an x-ray to make sure the op had been a success, the vet found he had an enlarged heart and he was on permanent medication. He wasn't expected to live for more than a couple of years. He had a real zest for life and was the joker of the pack. He would tease the other cats and went on 'cat flap duty'! He wouldn't let any of the cats in and if they went out he would smack them on the bottom as they went through! They were all very patient with him - just as if they knew he wasn't well. He would retrieve toy mice and bring them back to you and carefully place them on your foot.
A couple of days after Poppet died, Vivaldi was very quiet and started being sick. I took him for a check up and the vet felt a lump in his stomach. He was x-rayed and found to have cancer which was the rapidly spreading type. I was devastated and decided to let him go to sleep rather than bring him round as the vet said he didn't have long before he would have been in pain and that is what he would have done if it had been his own cat. I still wonder if I did right but I didn't want him to suffer and will always miss him and his sense of humour and cheeky ways. I feel sure that all the steroids and medication for his heart caused his stomach cancer but he wouldn't have lived for so long without them. He had eight very happy years, which I will always be grateful for.
My little clever man.
When Vivi was a kitten he used to bring me a present every day, sometimes a leaf or twig, a crisp packet or piece of paper. He then progressed to worms and when I came home from work the kitchen would be swarming with worms. It was horrendous, he would sit and watch them come up from the soil and then tug them out. They were usually ok and I would get a bucket and take them back to the bottom of the garden! He then started to catch mice, not many, but was very proud of himself when he did!

It's my 5 Years Bridge Anniversary Today and I'll be celebrating with my angel brofurs and sisfurs and my dear furriends. We'll be sprinkling some angel dust on Mum as it's a very sad day for her. I passed just 9 days after my brofur Poppet - her two precious boys!
This is a favourite poem of Mum's. It's true 'cos when I died she said she would not adopt any more as she couldn't stand any more heartbreak -but she did!!
To Love Again
Oh what unhappy twist of fate
Has brought you homeless to my gate,
The gate where once another stood
To beg for shelter warmth and food?
For from that day I ceased to be
The master of my destiny,
While he, with purr and velvet paw
Became within my house the law.
He scratched the furniture and shed
And claimed the middle of my bed,
He ruled in arrogance and pride
And broke my heart the day he died.
So if you really think, oh cat
I'd willingly relive all that,
Because you come forlorn and thin
Well don't just stand there - come on in!

A big, heartfelt thankyou to all my dear friends who celebrated my 13th Birthday with me.
Poppet, my angel brofur, threw me a fantastic party at the Bridge. All my angel family and friends were there and we just ate and played all day long. I know my Mum was sad 'cos she mises me so much and wished I could have been on earth with her and my siblings to have our customary Birthday tea but she lit me a pretty candle by my photo. I saw her take my mousie out of the drawer and kiss it - it's the one I used to retrieve. Mum must have thrown that mousie for me thousands of times and I always took it back to her and usually put it on her foot. Happy memories!!
Thankyou to my friends for the lovely gifts and messages. I loved each and every one of them. All the Irish names made me giggle. Mum says sorry she hasn't put them down here but she has to go and see grandma and doesn't have much time.
These are all the lovely gifts:-
4-leaf clover from Arrow, Orkney, Tara, Zephyr and Bunty.
Rainbow star from Wanda, Norman and family.
Rainbow from ALFIE and family.
Heart from Jobel, Zoe, Jasper and Jillian.
Heart and lovely birthday cake from Humphrey and Roger.
Blue ribbon from Dusty Miller, Erni, Jennifer, Sasha and family.
Love & angel kisses

Today is my 13th Birthday - I'll be celebrating with my angel brofurs Poppet and Albie and my angel sisfurs Annie, Trixie and Pippa (and all my dear angel friends too)!!
Poppet has made me a birthday cake and decorated it with worms!! I used to bring my mummy worms as prezzies and was so purroud when I dropped them at her feet - I don't know why she screamed before telling me I was such a good boy! MOL.
We won't be having a special tea in my honour but mummy will light a candle for me and put it by my picture, have a little cry 'cos she misses me and then think of all the happy times we shared.
Love & purrs
