To have her head scratched.
The ball on the scratcher toy.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Friskies indoor delights; kitten chow and cat chow mixed.
Spotting the birds out the window, before the others and getting a prime spot to watch them.
Little Star and her sister Fluffee were brought here by their mama (she was one of Alley's litters that did not come our way). They were all feral even tho their grandma was very calm and tame. They went into the motor of my car, so my son Donald moved an old car, not able to run, below the driveway for them to stay in. That worked for a while (they were about 4 weeks old). When they started to get into the other cars, we decided to try to tame them. We caught them to check them, and Star had a warble. We removed the warble and then cleaned it with peroxide. We began to catch her daily to clean the wound. This helped a little with having contact. We tried the same with her sister and I usually suffered wounds myself. Eventually, we brought the two inside (when their mom was caught and taken to a home in another city) and purchased a large soft-sided dog crate to keep them in while working with them. My husband was a non-cat person, but one evening when I was holding Fluffee, Star began to whine, wanting out of the crate too. I didn't trust them, to hold both at once, so I asked my husband to hold Star. He got a towel and held her. This became a routine, overtime, Star became attached to my husband and even tho he'd never admit it, she was his first feline love. Star has been spayed.
Star's mom is Alley. Star has a littermate, Fluffee. She is the niece of Bow Tye, Scaredy, Titi, Bear, Boss, Tiger, Lulu, Lila and Mo.
Star is named after the Starchild of KISS; but Little Star fit her size.

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came—
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
The Chestnuts came in yellow,
The Oaks in crimson dressed;
The lovely Misses Maple
In scarlet looked their best;
All balanced to their partners,
And gaily fluttered by;
The sight was like a rainbow
New fallen from the sky.
Then, in the rustic hollow,
At hide-and-seek they played,
The party closed at sundown,
And everybody stayed.
Professor Wind played louder;
They flew along the ground;
And then the party ended
In jolly "hands around."

With so many cats going in and out of the cat window, someone needs to keep the traffic flowing; I volunteered for the job. I just keep them from loitering and blocking the window. I also check them out, before they come in, if I smack at them and they have something in their mouths, they will probably drop it. So I am doing Mom a favor, right?
When I smack their behinds as they go out, I am just telling them to be careful. Honest!!
Lately the job has become boring. I have not been guarding the window as often as I was and now most of them come and go without me checking them out. Mom says I am only giving them a false sense of security, and will once again attack out of the blue. We shall see. ;)

Sunday I had the most wonderful time ever!! I went to Disneyland with my Friends from Kewlest Catster Kitties!! I was named the Kitty of the Month for March. As KOTM I was allowed to pick where we would go on a trip and since I have never been to Disneyland, I thought that would be fun. Boy did I have a GREAT time.
The rides, food and friends were the very BEST!!
We even saw the Princesses Theater; how wonderful. Meeting Mickey Mouse was the BEST!!
I have enjoyed being the Kitty of the Month and truly thank everyone for allowing me this honor.
