Arrival Story:
13 1/2 years ago I was driving down a country highway near my home and I passed a house with a sign in the front yard that said "Free Kittens". When we approached the porch there was a note saying there was only one kitten left and to please take any food or litter nearby as needed. I opened the door and there sat my baby boy. I lost my heart to him that day and since then he has been the most important thing in my life.

Bio:
Buddy was almost 10 yrs old when he was diagnosed with feline diabetes. After a few rough months, blood sugar regulated and for a wonderful 4 1/2 years we were happy and healthy! Unfortunately 1 month ago Buddy developed an infection. After a dental to remove several bad teeth, he did not get any better and rapidly declined. On August 30, 2004, I made the heartbreaking decision to let him rest in peace. He was nearly paralyzed and had lost his sight. I miss him so much. He was so loving and expressive. Almost humanlike in his behavior. He never once fought or hid from me at shot time or when I test his blood. He tolerated my constant hugging, kissing and cuddling like a champ and purred me to sleep every night. He was my best friend and I will love him forever.
