Less than 12 hours after discussing the possibility of getting 2 more cats to join the 2 we already have with my husband, I came home from school to find my upstairs neighbor hanging out of his window and yelling something about kittens next door. Equipped with a rake and a large rubbermaid bin, my upstairs neighbor and her fiance and I went foraging in the next-door neighbor's crap-under-tarp-laden backyard. After a few half-hearted attempts to find any kittens, 3 large stray cats ran out and we began questioning the kitten observation. But a little more poking around under an old rotting couch covered by a tarp revealed two of the ctuest kittens ever! They were so tiny and scared! The plan was to take them to the Humane Society, but after holding them, there was no way! I emailed a quick picture to my husband at work, and of course he said we could keep them! they only weighed 1 pound each and were absolutely covered in fleas, and the vet said they were probably 5 weeks old. Now the two little brothers are nearing 5 months and growing every day!
Bio:
Lloyd is the more social of the two kittens - he loves people! He is also strangely squishy and has the softest fur in the world. He was just diagnosed with gingivitis, but now the 2 weeks of oral antibiotics (fun!) seems to have cleared it up. His big feet and ears suggest he will be a big adult cat. He likes our other 2 cats, Keyser Soze and Tim.
