I am so very sad today....last night we found out that BBQ had the same disease we believe I had and he had to cross the bridge yesterday...He is here with me , safe and happy with his coat gleaming and his eyes shining but we look down on our families and thay are having such a hard time accepting that we are gone...my meowmy has been meaning to write in my diary for me but has just been too upset to come to my page much but because of BBQ she is here today...we want to let everypurr know that we are happy here and we are no longer in pain and we will always be with you all...my meowmy hasn't gotten over loosing me and now BBQ's crossing only 5 days later ...it is almost too much to bear....we urge everypurr to educate themselves about this terrible disease FIP...it can strike any kitty anywhere, there is no vaccine, no accurate test for it until the symptoms are advanced and no treatment that will save a kitties life once they have it ..... please support research for this disease so that someday kitties will be safe from it and not have to cross the bridge like BBQ and I did...
I want to thank every kitty that purred for me while I was sick, who gave me presents, said kind words that comforted my meowmy, and who have invited me to be friends and helped me get settled in here at the bridge....it has meant so much to us to know that there are so many people out there who understand what we went through...it has meant so much to her...
