Arrival Story:
Little Hanni was living outside Cassie's boyfriend's parents' home where there were already two kitties. Hanni wasn't wanted but it didn't stop her from trying to get some food and/or attention. Cassie (her mommy) visiting there saw this tiny little girl and reached out to her... Hanni started purring her loud, loving purr and jumped into her about-t0-be owner's arms. It was love at first sight, for both Hanni and Cassie. Cassie knew Hanni-Girl belonged to her... and here she is!

Bio:
We have no idea how long this little punkin was outside on her own before she came 'home', we think her former owners must have dropped her off on a country road ... shame on anyone who would even think of doing something so cruel. Hanni-Girl belongs to my daughter Cassie and is staying with us until Cassie moves into an apartment this summer at Penn State. She's a delightful little bit of a kitty with the most arresting golden-green eyes I've ever seen. She not only purrrrs but PURRRRRRRRS so loudly for so long you would think she'd be exhausted! She is such a girly little kitty, with the tiniest feet and most adorable nose... she really is enchanting.

I'm Baaaa-aaack...

I am back at 'home' sans my mommy. No college life for me until January when my mommy will get a new - and non-allergic - roomie.

And I've got big news! My 'Grandmommie' has been spending lots and lots of time with me, Opie, and Finney. She couldn't bear to see me in a room all day by myself (even if I didn't mind it), so she's been slowly but surely helping us get to know each other.

And I'm happy to announce I'm now running through the house with the other animals 24/7.

I make sure to get my way no matter what. (My college mommy laughs and calls me her Diva) If the pup and other kitties are near an open screen door where I want to be, I simply run up to them, hiss then give each a quick clawless SMACK to the head, and they all run, giving me unlimited access in order to stretch my body out and enjoy the scenery.

Ditto goes for chairs, drinking fountains, food bowls and other choice areas. Even Opie (the supposed ogre) runs when I hiss. I love it. I have complete dominance over this animal world.

Which is how it should be.

If I'm going to live here in this house, it will be on MY terms. And my terms only.

I am The Queen. (Even if my grandmommie calls me "Miss Hiss.")

And I'm Baaaa-aaaaack!

My Most Excellent Adventure

Kinda.

My sweet Mama came to see me a couple of weeks ago. How I love her! Well, how I love EVERYONE! But that's not the point here.

Having her home was extra special. She let me talk and talk to her - I'm even learning how to trill! It was wonderful until I noticed she was starting to pack up her things again.

I tried to tell her, "No! No Mama! Don't leave me!!!! I love you!"

She must have heard me.

The next thing I knew, I was being placed into the new carrier I had been playing in and out of for the week. Everyone was saying "Goodbye Hanni!" giving me kisses. I was a little confused.

The confusion grew as me and my carrier were snapped into it's base which was strapped to the passenger seat of a car. Was this good?

I let out a couple of small meows before settling down for the four hour ride. My mama says I'm a born traveler for I slept the whole time.

Now...

I live in an apartment with my mama and her roommates in State College. My mama is taking summer classes at Penn State.

I miss my old home. I miss playing footsies with Opie and Finney. I miss my other humans. But...

... I adjusted almost immediately to my new surroundings, following Mama room to room as she readied the apartment for us.

This is pretty exciting. I'm a pretty gal living with pretty gals in a college setting. Does this make me a genuine college girl?!

Wow.

This IS going to be quite an adventure!

Purrs.

I've been lovingly tagged - or pork chopped! - by Chloe – The Princess Pork Chop.

Here are the rules of the game. You have to write seven random facts about yourself. Then choose seven cats to tag. Let them know they've been tagged by pawmailing or rosette-ing them with the news, and have them read your diary. Post the rules of the game and your seven pawsome facts and the names of the seven kitties you're tagging. Enjoy!

Here are my seven facts...

1) I really am a teeny tiny little girl (even if I eat a huge amount of EVO). I'm like a puff of air when I'm picked up... or at least I am compared to the big lugs Finney and Opie.

2) I talk in sentences. Why bother with a simple Meow when you can speak in syllables?! I talk as I allow and lead my humans into my room. I talk as I play. I talk when sitting. I even talk while I'm eating. My owner semi-jokingly says my name should have been Gabrielle/Gabby.

3) Catnip = speed. I love it so much I go into hyper-drive until it wears off.

4) I play footsies with the two big cats under my door... but I hiss at them as soon as there is no door between us. (Opie hisses back.)

5) I'm not afraid of Finney. (Just don't tell HIM that.)

6) Spencer, the pup, frightens me to pieces... making my humans wonder if I had been chased or attacked by a dog at some point in my life.

7) I love lazer lights and wand toys. I always play with my mouth wide open... my humans think it's my way of silently laughing.

I am tagging my wonderful lookalike Hannah, the very beautiful Anastasia, gorgeous blue-eyed Sky, pretty Miss Samantha Louise, Bobbi Boi because he’s not only a cutie but was one of the first kitties to request my friendship, Harley aka “Fatboy” so he doesn’t feel quite as neglected, and last but absolutely not least darling Victor Gibbs who is perfectly anointed with sweet hearts of brown fur.

And not to worry if you don't want to play this game... I just don't want to continue to be It!

Purrrrrrrrs.
