Saving lives! He found a scorpion on my mom's pillow one night before bed. We had no idea why he was thrashing at the pillow until we turned it over! What a good kitty!

Arrival Story:
Although I had never actually had a dog, I considered myself a dog person. In my 12 years of life I had never even so much as touched a cat let only thought of getting one. Finally one day I realized my parents would never let me have a dog, but they did bring up the possibility of a cat.
My mom took me over to a friends house whose cat had just had a litter of three kittens. First I saw a little girl kitten, she was adorable but they were keeping her. Next I saw a little black male kitten, he was cute but I wasn't sold. After all, I was a DOG person, so not just any cat would do. Then my little Leo walked out from sleeping behind the couch and I KNEW in that instant. I pointed to him and simply said, "that's the one."
From there on out I have been 110% a cat lover. Leo passed away last year at only 9 years old from chronic renal failure. Watching him go from 14lbs down to 5lbs was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I put him to sleep only 10 days after my birthday and thought my life was over. I know now that Leo is waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge and will watch over me until then.

Meow to all my new friends!
I want to thank you all so much for all the treats! I can't believe I am up to 120 already! My brudder Cecil still only has 1 treat, but then again he hasn't crossed the bridge yet so he still gets tons of treats from Mommy. I wish I could still get treats from Mommy...
I also want to thank you all for befriending me and welcoming me to the bridge. I was feeling lonely without my Mommy, but now I have all of you to hang out with! We will have so much fun together waiting for our mommies and daddies!
