Because I was a stray kittie who lived with Mum for the last 6 years of my life, my birthday and age is a guesstimate!! When mum rescued me the vet thought I was about 15 years of age - so it could really have been my 21st birthday yesterday!! Us kitties really don't know!
I had a fantastic party at the Bridge with my angel family and wonderful friends and enjoyed the food and games so much!! I looked down on Mum and saw her looking lovingly at my photo and lighting a pretty candle for me. It was a violet candle because she remembers me sitting by the violets in our garden and thinking how pretty I looked!
Thankyou to my dear friends for all the gifts and lovely messages:-
Pink cupcake - from Wanda, Norman & family.
Heart (and card with lovely slideshow and cake) - from Humphrey, Roger & Greta.
Pink rosette - from Orkney, Arrow, Tara, Zephyr & Bunty.
Shrimp - from Casey.
Bat - from Adam, Eve, Puddin, Puff & family.
Pink rosette - from Alexander, Ra, Utu & family.
Candy corn - from Dusty Miller.
I received some lovely ginger kitties with pink bows. They remind me of dear angel Queen Tallulah and all her fantastic work for both animals and people with breast cancer.
They were from:-
Osiris (we share the same birthday - isn't that cool!)
Jaffa, Lulu & Rustle
Ciao-Li, Jean Louise Weezer & family
Sassy
Thankyou all again! I love my friends so much!
Pippa

Our sweet angel sisfur Pippa is celebrating her birthday today at the Bridge with her many angel friends.
She was a feral kitty mum rescued when she was about 12 - 14 years old and she lived with us for 6 years - so she could be celebrating her 20th or maybe 22nd birthday today!! She died peacefully in her sleep in her bed by the radiator almost 2 years ago.
Mum could only touch her briefly when she was eating but she loved all the other cats and was always snuggling up to them. A kind friend of mum's bought her a beautiful cat cabin for the garden when she was afraid to come into the house. We still call it "Pippa's House" so in her own sweet way she left us a lasting legacy.
Rest in peace sweet Pippa! You enriched all our lives so much.
Happy Birthday!
Love and hugs!
Mum and your brofurs and sisfurs.

Today it's exactly 12 months since Pippa died. We shall be lighting a candle and putting fresh flowers by her photo in remembrance of such a sweet little cat.
It isn't a sad day because we are celebrating her life! She spent the last 6 years of her life with us and changed from being a frightened little cat into such a happy one. She loved all the other cats and they all accepted and loved her straight away - there was no animosity or anything. She just tolerated me - especially when I had her food dish ready to give her and I could just give her a couple of strokes down her back when she started eating, then she would look at me as if to say "what do you think you're doing, leave me alone".
On the day she died she had played out in the garden for a little while with Snowy and Blackie and had her favourite meal - freshly roasted warm chicken. She just died peacefully in her sleep in her bed by the radiator. I think her heart must have just stopped. She was 18 to 20 years old.
Rest in Peace little Sweetheart!
