Oh nooooooo!

Mommy told me tonight that we're going to the vet tomorrow. Someone hide me, quick!!!

Monster!

Today I saw something that I have never seen in my entire life. My mommy was scurrying around the house, squirting stuff and using something to wipe the squirties up. This was OK because she didn't squirt me, and the squirties smelled kinda nice.

Then she went and got a big thing out with a long tail, and she put the end of the tail in the wall. Then the big thing start roaring! It was a Monster! The Monster zoomed all over the floor and my annoying dog brother Kevin was real scared of it. I was OK until I noticed that the Monster was eating all of the nice hair that I left on the floor for Mommy! And when the Monster was all done roaring, there was no more hair on the floor!

How rude! I left that hair on the floor on purpose as a present to Mommy. I thought that since she pets my hair so much, maybe I'd give her some of mine that she could pet whenever she wanted, so I left some all over the floor just for her cuz I thought she'd like it. But then she let the Monster eat all my hair on the floor!

My annoying dog brother is a big baby cuz he was scared of the Monster. I wasn't scared of it---I was mad at it for eating my gift to Mommy!

Toys......

Can someone explain to me what the big deal about toys is? My mom got me a crinkle tunnel and a round thing with a ball that rolls around the edges, and a catnip filled boogie mat, and I'm just not that into any of them!

My mom told me that she read reviews on the toys on Petsmart.com and on Target.com and that a lot of kitties love them, but I think that they're not that great. The only toy that I like so far is a wand with feathers and a jingle bell at the end. Now that is fun!

But everything else is just......blah. Does that make me weird?

My Two-Week Anniversary!

Today is the two-week anniversary of when I was adopted into my fur-ever home! It's been the best, most interesting, two weeks of my life! Home life is a LOT different than shelter life or my life as a stray. Here are the things that I've noticed so far:

1. I get fed twice a day. Like clockwork. How nice to have my own bowls that no one gets to use but ME!

2. I have not one, but TWO litterboxes. One of them is Pink!!!

3. I have a dog brother. He is so annoying. He keeps trying to play with me, but I'm not sure about him yet. My life as a stray taught me to be wary of large, barky, drooly dogs. My brother Kevin is definitely large and drooly!

4. Dogs like cat food. My brother Kevin keeps trying to eat my food!

5. I much prefer sleeping on my daddy's chair or on the arm of the couch even though my mommy bought me a nice pink kitty bed.

6. I like to climb on my mommy and daddy in the middle of the night and meow and purr to let them know that I'm so happy that they picked me!

7. I don't think I like toys too much. My mom got me a tunnel that crinkles, and I've stuck my head in a few times, but it's not that thrilling. Then my mom got me a pink scratching post, and I haven't touched it. Then my mom got me a catnip-filled Boogie mat, and I don't really care about it. The only thing that I really like is the feathers and jingle bell at the end of the wand. That thing is AWESOME.

8. I don't understand the big deal about catnip.

9. I loooooove to be brushed. I'm such a girly-girl, and my mommy brushes my fur every day. Purrrrrrrrrr.

10. Even though I love being warm inside my house, everytime mom or dad takes my dog brother Kevin outside, I sneak down by the door and long to go outside too. I know, I know, that's how I got into trouble in the first place and wound up at the shelter, but it looks so interesting outside! Plus, I don't understand why Kevin gets to do something that I don't!

11. I love my mom and dad. Even though I'm a little shy about affection with them, I get braver every day.

12. I love Catster!!!
