Mind your Manners

My mummy has this dumb new thing she makes me do...

Well you know how you like to drink from taps rather than your water bowl, even if they have gone out an bought one of those expensive fountain things which are just nowhere near as good as a tap you are not allowed to drink from?

Well... now my mummy mjakes me say please and thank you before she turns on the tap for me! I jump into the tub and point at the water thing but she just shakes her head at me and says not until you say please and then I have to meow and then she makes me say thank you because she reckons that I won't say it once she turns on the tap for me so I have to say meow meow and then she turns it on for me :)

Why can't she just turn on the water when I point my tail at it?

I learned how to turn on taps!

OK well my mummy cleaned my water fountain thing (and I don't like it when its clean) but she had just given me food and catnip and played with me and I was really thirsty. My water didn't taste of food or toys like it did earlier so I had to go in search of other forms of drinks. I tried to get some icecream from daddy - I even sat pretty for him - but he said no. So I followed mummy around. She was cleaning so had put down the toilet seat and i couldn't drink from that and thats when I had an idea. I have seen how mummy 'works' the water lots of times. So i got my paws on the silver thing and pulled as hard as I could - and yay - out came the water so I drank from the tap in the bathroom sink until mummy came in and shook her head and took pictures of me. She was trying to be mad at me but she isn't mad if she takes a photo because she thinks its cute when she does that! Silly mummy - she really believes that we believe her when she pretends being mad at us!
