Arrival Story:
Cathy was a pregnant stray and taken in by a friend of mine. Unfortunately the resident cat would not go in the house and was very jealous of the newcomer. Cathy came to me, she started sneezing and developed cat flu. She was very poorly and on medication and when her kittens were born she tried to bury them in her litter. I took them away and bottle fed them for a few days and then when I re-introduced them to their mum (who was now feeling much better) she took over and started feeding and washing them. She was an excellent mum and would shield her kittens when anyone came to see them. The kittens were all re-homed and Cathy developed chronic gingivitus. She had several courses of antibiotics but they didn't work for very long. She had all her teeth out except for 4 and never looked back. She has lost another 3 teeth but is now happy and content. She is very loving but is a loner and just ignores the other cats in her family.

I can't believe it's one year since my darling Stumpy left me and flew to the Bridge. We always keep in contact and he often comes to visit me in my dreams - he's the most wonderful and caring husband any kittie could wish for!

He sent me a beautiful diamond ring - I call it my Eternity ring because I know we'll be together for eternity.

Please visit his page - I know he'd love to hear from his earth friends.

You can find him at http://www.catster.com/cats/389260

I got a Christmas prezzie from Heaven!!

Mum woke me up this morning to tell me that Stumpy had sent me a Christmas prezzie! I was so excited I couldn't wait for mum to help me open it!

Inside there was the prettiest hat and collar I had ever seen, sent to me via the lovely Miss Hazel Lucy. The card enclosed had a beautiful message from my darling husband. It brought tears to my eyes and made me feel so loved and lucky to have the best furhusband in the whole wide world! I know he won't mind me sharing it with you. This is what he said:-

"My dearest and only love Cathy
As I am spending time with you
every night, now that I am your
personal guardian angel/husband,
I know how chilly the British winters
can be. Please take this modest gift
of my paws, to keep you warm during
the cold spells. Just like my love will
keep you warm furever.

Your loving husband
Stumpy"

This will be Stumpy's first Christmas at the Bridge so I asked my angel brofur Poppet to arrange a big furamily party for all Stumpy's angel family and my angel brofurs and sisfurs. He said not to worry he had already started planning the party of all parties in honour of Stumpy, who is dearly loved by all. It will be even more special 'cos it will also welcome Stumpy and my dear adopted little angel boy Pickles into our united families.

Much love Stumpy - see you tonight!
