Chauncey LOVES to have his cheeks rubbed, he also likes to make his own little kitty bed by kneading his paws up and down, he also loves to snuggle in any pet bed that is up to his level of expectation, finally, he LOVES to chase around Greyfur

Chloe and him don't mix, getting pet on the backside, when Chloe and Greyfur gang up on him so they can eat his food, when he can't snuggle

Favorite Toy:
A catnip-filled lounge pad with tassles on the ends that my sister got him for xmas last year

Favorite Nap Spot:
On our laps, in his top secret leopard print hiding spot (he won't let me tell you where that is)

Favorite Food:
He really likes his current special diet, ZD

He can reach his arm ALL THE WAY under any bathroom door while you are going to the bathroom to make sure you don't forget he is out there

Arrival Story:
Chauncy was a stray kitty that showed up at our backdoor step the winter of 2006. He would come around about once a week or so, and then disappear. I knew he was friendly because he would always rub up against my leg. I really started to get worried about him when he showed up with an injured ear. I then decided at the end of Feb. 07 to catch him. He LOVED it when Jim used to cook steaks on our grill; that is when he would show up. So we cooked a steak, and sure enough, he showed up. The rest is history! I caught him, had him neutered, and he is now the fourth feline addition to our family.

Chauncey was officially diagnosed about a week ago with IBD. This came after a series of diagnostic tests, blood tests and finally, a trip to the specialist for a scope down the throat and the other end! The biopsies revealed IBD in the large and small intestine. :( However, he is taking Prednisone and should hopefully find some relief soon. Update: This past October 2009, our wonderful Chauncey passed away due to a sudden and unexpected congestive heart failure. He joined his 22 year old past housemate, Spooks. We will miss you, Chauncey!!!!
