Arrival Story:
One morning I left for work and thought I heard a noise in my garden. Looked, but didn't see anything. At 5pm that same day, I arrived home and heard a quiet little noise again. Looked, but did not see anything. Finally, at midnight, I heard the noise again, this time much MUCH louder. I went out side with a flashlight, certain I had heard what seemed to be meowing. I no sooner had shone my flashlight into our bushes when out came little three week old Chloe, meowing at the top of her lungs! I scooped her up and instantly, she melted my heart.....
Bio:
Chloe and her littermates were born to a feral mother behind my house. Her sister, Greyfur, we rescued about four weeks later after my neighbor found her (see her story on a different page). Chloe's brother, Tiki, found a home two doors down. The fourth littermate, now called Wildfur, was unable to be caught and is now a member of the feral clan, which is group of seven cats that have lived outside my house for a while now. I am in the process of getting them spayed/neutered.
Chloe's mom is a beautiful black feral cat affectionately named Hissy for the hisses she gives people when approached. Hissy is currently residing in my kitty rescue while she recovers from her spaying surgery.
Chloe found us, we like to say. She chose us. :)
