Arrival Story:
I found Spikey at humane society in Toronto, Canada. He was about 4.5 months. And he is just a character, you never be bored when he is around. We just moved to Chicago recently, it was a long car drive like 10 hours. It was all worth it because he has so much more room to run around and do whatever he feels like, and now he has a daddy who adores him and spoils him even more (like he doesn't get spoiled enough by mommy).

Spike is Home

It's been 3 1/2 very long weeks for us. But we finally got Spike back.
last week we seen him beside our house when I was coming out to have a smoke, but when he saw me he run off again, but seeing him that eveni ng that made me feel a little better, at least I knew that he is alive and around the area. The only thing was how to get him to come home, so we got a humane trap. (Thanks to my sister that used to work at the rescue center.) We set up a trap 3 days ago and on the first day we got our naeigbours cat, on the second there was nothing and today I got woken up by my husband yelling that we got Spike.
We brought the trap into the house, opened the trap and Spike darted out of there and went starit into the window, he was trying to get out again. He looks so very skinny, dirty and has blisters looking wounds on the bottom of his paws, some hair missing on top of his eyes and on the side of the left eye, his left side of the face looks a little swallen but that could be from running into the window, so he is going to the vet this week for a check up and is gonna get a bath later on.

I also want to thank everyone for the support. We love you all.

Still Missing

Spike is nowhere to be found. :(
We visited all shelters, police stations and we keep searching for him every day and night around our area but there is no sign of Spikey. Posters are posted but noone has called. I been leaving some food out, but our neighbors cats been eating it. Couple of days ago we found bunch of feathers beside our front door, and we hope it was Spikey trying to let us know that he is around. I hope that it was. I want him to come home already. We miss him so much.
And it's snowing again today maybe it will make him to come home.........

Spike has been missing for 4 days now. The posters are posted anywere and everywere. I placed food and water outside the door in hopes he will return, but so far only the neighbors cat been eating it. He is also been reported missing with 24 pet watch. We will be checking shelters around our area, and animal hospitals.
It's very empty in the house without him. And every time I walk into the room I expect to seee him in his favourite spot.
We walk around our area every day, but he is no where to be seen. I start crying every time I see his picture, or look over to his bed. He used to sleep with me everynight crawled up right under my arm, and now I can hardly sleep.
I hope someone will find him and I will have my baby back.

Spikey please come back, there is no place like home.....
