Dear Diary,

Mommy came onto Catster to have our family send some love and encouragement to poor Harrison, who has to find a new home. When she sent the rosie from our family she almost typed: "Edgar, Emily Felicity..."

You see, when mommy was real active on Catster, it was just me and the brat, Edgar. e&e. Edgar and Emily. And I left so suddenly.

Mommy "deals" with my being gone by not thinking about it. Probably not the best way...but she is a human, not a cat, so I have to forgive her for not being purrfect. But coming on Catster tonight made her think of me so vividly that it was like a physical, stabbing pain.

I know she did the best thing for me, letting me go. I wish she knew it, truly knew it as well.

We know how hard it is for your mom when she thinks of you and all the questions she has in the back of her mind. Please let her know she is not alone. You will always be there for her in the good times and the bad. Sending heartfelt purrs.....

Sweet one's mommy...
There is no easy way to lose a furry soul friend. What I can tell you is that magick is a part of what we, as cats, are. I can tell you as sad as it is for your mommy...and it is painful for our people...it is magickal for us. We leap from a form we can not use any longer. Our souls scamper free, and all of a sudden, we can run and tumble, play and frisk!

If there is a sadness to this, it's being in a different fomr from our folks. From those who are still in fur form, too. But they sense us...they know we've changed, but they know we are. It's harder for our folks.

Dear little Emily's mom, know that magick still surrounds you. There is magick in all we are and do. And that means in terms of love...Emily purrs for you. and we have a feeling, that she'll be back, to gaze at you with gold or emerald eyes...perhaps a different coat...but you'll recognize her as only soul friends can.

With lots of love and purrs...and small nudges with my big orange head...

Mom knows how your Mom feels, but she does think of me all the time...she knows that I am doing good and helping others...

We have missed you and your Mom...we hate when our friends leave and are not around much...

Emily, it is so wonderpurr to hear from you and to see your lovely face in Diary Central as a DDP (congrats!) My Mom also lost a kitty very suddenly and unexpectedly almost 4 years ago now, similar to what you went through with your illness, and it hurt Mom very deeply. She knows what you mean by physical stabbing pain. Sending lots of hugs and purrs to your Mom.
