Dear Diary,
My silly mom is all excited about my 17th birthday party in the brusselball group spa! Here is the url for the group: http://www.catster.com/group/Brusselball-10047 I think the admins will accept your request to join if you ask to.
You see, before me and Emily, mommy had one cat as a grown up; Gabrielle. Gabby didn't quite make it to 11 years old and Gabby was mommy's heart kitty. I won't go into all the details of her journey to the Bridge. Suffice it to say, that it was 'cause of Gabby and then Lucinda that mommy promised me that I and my sis, Emily Felicity, would NOT suffer because mommy couldn't stand to let us go.
As many of you know, my sis, Emily, had to make her journey when she was only 14.5 years old. So I've been without her for a while now. Daddy always said he thought sis would outlive me, because I was fat... But what does daddy know? LOL! I'm fixin' to turn 17!
I get my sub-q fluids twice a week. And I'm down under 8 lbs in weight. But I still have my appetite and still bat Salem on the head when he is a pain. And still sleep with my mommy.
Mom doubts that I will have an 18th birthday - because of that promise she made... so if you could make it to this party, well, I'd really appreciate it!

Misha and family Happy 17th birthday. You have one of the good Mommys out there, but you never know..keep your whiskers up...you might make 18. My parents didn't think I would be here as long as I have but I am still kicking and happy. It sounds like you had a great birthday! Head bonks and purrs to you and your family.
