Rainbow bridge

Bailey went to the Bridge this morning after a 3year battle with an over active Thyroid ..at the end she only weighed 4 lb and her wight was still going down ...she refused to take her last lot of pill the vet gave her and there was nothing left we could try .
Paul and I spent the weekend discussing it and decided to put her to sleep was the best thing as she was basically starving to death !
I want to thank all the CCLs for all the head butts and purrs over the last 3years they have followed Bailey and her vet visits.

Just to let you all know .. Bailey is doing well
has to have some liquid calcium for a little while and she is going to the vet in the morning for a post op check up !
Shes feeling so good that she belted HK round the head last night !

WOOHOO!! Bailey can come home today !! : )
going to get her in an hour : )

Her her calcium levels fell again today so its another night in the vets : (
have to ring again in the morning : (

WOOT! baileys calcium levels are up ,shes off the drip .the vet said she has eaten several dishes of tuna
and may be home tomorrow: )

I have spoken to the vet they said
bailey is brighter in her self and she has had some tuna ,but her calcium levels are still low so she is still on a drip so wont be home today : (

The vet just rang me : ( baileys calcium levels are very low and she is not eating ,the are going to force feed her, the next 12hrs are critical if her calcium drop any lower she could fit !!!,
