Be looking for a diary entry from Edgar or Emily....I think they'll have better information than I do!
Welcome home, e&e! ♥

This is from Muffin's mommy...........
When I talked to e&e's hubby @ 8:30 this morning, he thought she'd be home by noon. I didn't *see* her around this afternoon, but assumed she was just tired or not feeling up to playing on the computer. Then I found out she wasn't even home yet. He called about 10:00pm to say she was still in the hospital & would be staying overnight. :(
They put a heart catheter in her this morning. She has no blockage, but was having spasms (which are treatable). Not sure why they kept her so long, but around 7pm she signed the papers and they released her to go home.
I don't know enough about medical procedures to ask good questions, and hope I relay this information correctly. She will be better able to tell details later on, but this is what I know right now............
She got dressed and they brought the customary wheel chair to her. She took about 3 steps and cried out in pain. (This is part I'm not sure about) The seal broke loose in her groin and started bleeding. She had a big ball of blood (he wasn't sure if it was a clot, but that's what it sounds like to me). The nurse did some stuff, including applying a pressure bandage, and it reduced to about the size of a marble.
She is now flat on her back, can't get out of bed for any reason, and isn't even supposed to move her head. He said she is on pain meds, but is still in a great deal of pain. I feel so bad for her and am worried. Please keep her in your prayers.
He also told me that Emily is having withdrawals cuz she always lays on her mommy's lap while mommy plays on the pc. He said Emily usually ignores him, but was rubbing all over him last night, wanting attention. He said Edgar got a little anxious at the level of food in his bowl, but once he filled it up, gave him his canned food and they got fresh ice cubes in their water fountain, Edgar seemed more content. He said they really miss her and she needs to come home soon so they can purr for her & make her all better!
Keep pawsies crossed and keep on purring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Thanks, Muffie, for letting me write in your diary

Dear Catster Friends,
Thank you for purring for Mommy's friend, Edgar & Emily's mommy.
Their Daddy called my Mommy early this morning, after her surgery and said everything went well and she gets to go home in a few hours. Whoo hoo!!!! Mommy doesn't get up early (she likes to lay there & snuggle with me), so she thinks she might have been a little groggy when she talked to Mr. e&e. It was a very good way for Mommy to start her day, knowing that her friend is doing better and will be home soon.
We think maybe e&e's mommy might be sore for awhile after her surgery, so if you'd keep up the purrayers & purring I think that will help her recover. I'm sure Emily & Edgar will be helping, but we can help too!
Love you guys!
