Birthday: February 14th 1999 Coloration: Calico Likes: She likes to watch TV and she loves root vegetables. Likes to roll around on them when they're in plastic bags. In fact, she'll do it so long that her hair gets full of static. Pet-Peeves: She only lets you brush her hair on her top half--shoulder & head. Every place else is a no-no! She does not like Prince. Favorite Toy: She likes to chase bugs, especially centipedes. She likes to "help" me on the computer. Her favorite new thing is to chase the ping pong ball around. She wakes us up during the night playing with it & it's the first thing she runs to when she comes in. Favorite Nap Spot: It used to be on the desk, in front of the pc monitor, but now it's on top of the turn table. Favorite Food: She usually only eats her dry food, but the other day she stole some popcorn from my bowl and ate it. Skills: She can spot a scorpion a mile away, but we've never seen her catch anything. Dwells:
indoors Arrival Story: We were outside one evening, enjoying a cool beverage. She just strolled up and jumped on my lap like she belonged there....and she did! I'd always wanted a calico kitty, so we kept her! Bio: We really don't know what kind of cat she is, but she looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat to us, except she's too small. She has lots of fur on the bottom of her feet. One day I went outside and heard her meow. I looked up and saw her on the very top of our 2 story house. She turned, as if to scamper off....only to fall off the roof instead!!!!! I was screaming bloody murder and she was scrambling as fast as she could. It wasn't a graceful fall, but she somehow managed to land on her feet. She had so much momentum built up that she slammed her head into the ground. Grass stained her face and gave herself a concussion. Poor Muffie!!! We called her "Hulk" for quite awhile. There's a picture of her little grass stained face. She's a very needy cat and is, perhaps, not the brightest bulb in the box. Lives Remaining: 2 of 9 Forums Motto: Mommy's little clingy girl The Groups I'm In: Calico & Tortie Darlings, Olde Furts, Stuff On My Cat's CCLs in their GPs
Ummmm, well, I got DDP!! I was very surprised. I didn't talk about "poopies" or anything like that! MOL
Last time I wrote, I told you about my girl furriends Nikki & Maggie going to the Bridge. Then I found out my furriend Alys the Diva also went to the Bridge. They always say things happen in 3's. I sure hope that's it for now. I still feel sorry for their hoomins, cuz I know how much they miss their precious girl kitties, but I'm glad my furriends once again feel frisky and I hope they are making lots of new furriends.
Today the sun is shining but it's cold outside. When my Daddy gets home, I hope he lets me help him work on his old car in the garage. He always says what a good helper I am! I like the garage, but most of all I love my Daddy.
This week two of my good furriends went to the Bridge. They were both very special to me and it makes me very, very sad. First, a lovely tabby girl named Nikki, and then a beautifl orange girl named Maggie.
Neither one of them had been feeling great for quite a while. They both went to the Bridge suddenly, and their Mommy's were both at home with them. I guess if you're going to go to the Bridge, that's a good way to get there.
I just keep thinking about my girlfriends. I wish I could rub up against their mommy's & daddy's legs or something, so I could show them how much I care.
Remembering them both, with love,
Muffin
I tried to put the link to their pages here, but I guess I don't know how. :( pooey.
I am happy about the Catster changes in our Diaries. Today I don't see every single comment another kitty has made on my friends' diaries, and it doesn't show links to all the comments I've made either.
