Coloration: Calico
Likes: She likes to watch TV and she loves root vegetables. Likes to roll around on them when they're in plastic bags. In fact, she'll do it so long that her hair gets full of static.
Pet-Peeves: She only lets you brush her hair on her top half--shoulder & head. Every place else is a no-no!
Favorite Toy: She likes to chase bugs, especially centipedes. She likes to "help" me on the computer. Her favorite new thing is to chase the ping pong ball around. She wakes us up during the night playing with it & it's the first thing she runs to when she comes in.
Favorite Nap Spot: It used to be on the desk, in front of the pc monitor, but now it's on top of the turn table.
Favorite Food: She usually only eats her dry food, but the other day she stole some popcorn from my bowl and ate it.
Skills: She can spot a scorpion a mile away, but we've never seen her catch anything.
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: We were outside one evening, enjoying a cool beverage. She just strolled up and jumped on my lap like she belonged there....and she did! I'd always wanted a calico kitty, so we kept her!
Bio: We really don't know what kind of cat she is, but she looks like a Norwegian Forest Cat to us, except she's too small. She has lots of fur on the bottom of her feet. One day I went outside and heard her meow. I looked up and saw her on the very top of our 2 story house. She turned, as if to scamper off....only to fall off the roof instead!!!!! I was screaming bloody murder and she was scrambling as fast as she could. It wasn't a graceful fall, but she somehow managed to land on her feet. She had so much momentum built up that she slammed her head into the ground. Grass stained her face and gave herself a concussion. Poor Muffie!!! We called her "Hulk" for quite awhile. There's a picture of her little grass stained face. She's a very needy cat and is, perhaps, not the brightest bulb in the box.

This morning the telephone rang very early at our house. It was my skin sister, Claire. She called to tell my purrents that her sweet little kitty, Mollie, got hit by a car and had gone to the Bridge.
Claire was at my house last night for dinner. Afterwards, my purrents and Claire were talking and they all laughed a lot about some of Mollie's antics. I was kind of jealous at the time cuz I know Mollie was really cute, but now I'm glad they shared some fun stories about Mollie.
My skin sister was absolutely crazy about Mollie and is devastated. Mommy & Daddy are very sad too. They feel so sorry for Claire & Buddy, and they will miss Mollie. Mommy is always smiling when she comes home from Claire's house and one of the reasons is because of Mollie and Buddy. They are worried about Buddy. He doesn't understand what happened & he misses his sister, his best friend.
My Daddy buried Mollie this morning. I gave him extra snuggle time tonight. I think I made him feel a little bit better.
He is SO good to me. Every night he comes outside and finds me and he takes me into the house. He holds me on his lap and pets me while he watches tv. He makes sure my brofurs leave me alone. He lets me sleep with them.
I know my Mommy loves me. She snorgles with me and pets me a lot every day and makes sure I have food & water and she brushes my hair. But.....Daddy is my favorite purrson in the whole wide world. He is my bestest bud. I think Mommy might be jealous.
Well, by now you know all about me & Prince. What you may not know is that things are getting a little better between us.
Sometimes Mommy & Daddy put me in their bedroom and let the boys stay downstairs with them. That's okay. It's kind of nice. They get the attention they want and I get to sleep on their bed without being pestered or chased off. I have everything I need up there. I get to sleep with them too.
Last night, they tried something different. They put the boys in their bedroom and let ME stay downstairs with them. I spent some quality time with them and I even played with my ping-pong toy. It was so nice.
Other times, we're all loose in the house. Sometimes Prince still chases me, but not as much as he used to. There are 2 different tables I like to hide under. I just sleep while I'm there & he never bothers me. It's okay.
I've been laying outside in the shade today. I have cold water to drink. I smell chicken cooking. Too bad I don't like chicken.
