Arrival Story:
Sparkle was born at the city pound. Her mom and all her litter mates were adopted and there she sat until she was 4 months old and showing signs of kennel depression. I was looking for a second cat, as my male, Amber, was gaining weight, being home alone while I was working. I brought Sparkle home the same day I met her! And she did her job well, keeping Amber on the move, driving him crazy with her kitten antics. He frequently looked like he wanted to just pack his bags and leave, lol. She got her name from her personality, as she brought some "sparkle" into our lives.
Bio:
Sparkle was a pet therapy cat. For 2 years, we went to local nursing homes and visited with patients. She is the only cat I've ever had with the personality to do this. She LOVES to be told how pretty she is! Sparkle is a momma's girl. She loves to snuggle with me, and won't give anyone else the time of day. If they tell her to "get down" off a counter, or table, she stares at them, clearly thinking, "You are NOT the boss of me!" If I tell her to "get down," she does.
