Sad, Sad Day...

Well, mom here, a lot has happened in the past few years...Tanner went to live at my farm in PA because I moved cross country for a job. I had every intention of going back once I was settled and getting him. That was going to be this summer or fall.

I received news yesterday that he's been missing for two weeks. He was staying with my ex fiance' who knew him from kittenhood - we were together 10 years.

I am heartbroken to say the least. I know not where Tanner got off to, in the middle of February especially....no front claws, indoor house cat...etc.

And to not know for over two weeks - that's the worst part. Since finding out I have contacted all the local shelters, sent them pics, created flyers, got them out to the cat community on Facebook but I fear the worst.

The neighbor by the farm told my ex there is a fisher in the vicinity. They're cat killers. Cats are apparently enemy number one to these weasel-like cousins to the wolverine with a ferocity that matches a badger...

Please think good thoughts. Not only is Tanner missing, his buddy, Josie has been gone for three weeks as well...one week before Tanner disappeared. I also just found this out yesterday from my ex - who I talk to about twice a week. I'm frustrated and dumbfounded at the lack of communication but at this point I just need to process, roll up my sleeves and try to find my baby boy...
