The Baby

My New Home

Hello everyone! I've lived with my new family for a month now. They're so nice to me, but I never walk! They're always picking me up and they want to kiss me, and sometimes I don't want to be kissed and held, so I try to wiggle free and I push them away but they just keep coming! Is this how it's supposed to be?

I have two brothers. My brother Riku has a Catster but my other brother Nia doesn't yet. He will. My mommy is just having trouble getting a good picture of him. He's so weird. Nia always sniffs me and cleans me, but he rarely plays with me. He runs so fast! I wonder why he runs from me, though? I just wanna play!

My brother Riku LOVES to play with me. At first he didn't like me. He would hiss at me and tell me to leave him alone, but Mommy said he was just jealous because I'm the baby. He was the baby before. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but it made me sad. He's so fluffy and he has a really big tail! I just want to bite it! Now, though, he loves me. Sometimes when I'm thirsty, he pulls the water dish out and brings it to me!

Something bad happened when I first moved here, though. It wasn't anyone's fault... I was playing with Riku and he was attacking me. I took a step backwards and I fell between the railing. Mom said it was a whole STORY. (I think that might be far!) She said that she was sitting at her computer when she heard a thud. She came to look and saw my brother Riku peering down at the living room. She was so afraid! She ran downstairs and picked me up! She was poking me all over (she said to make sure I wasn't hurt) but I was a little dizzy. Nothing hurt, though! I was fine! Riku came running down after Mommy and was looking for me. When he saw I was fine, he wanted to play again. I just wanted to hug Mommy for another minute... but then I ran after him!

I love my home. I snuggle with my mom at night and sometimes I wake her up by sniffing her lips and licking her eyelashes. I don't think she likes that. Sometimes she kicks me out of her room. That's okay, though! I go and visit Grandpa in his room, or my aunt in her room! Then I get to stay up late and chase Riku and Nia around the house with no humans around! It's funny waking Grandpa up though, because he always looks so confused when I'm there!

Anyway, I have to go play with my flamingo. He hangs on the pillar upstairs beside the kitchen. (THIS PLACE IS HUUUGE.)

I wonder where Riku is...
