Arrival Story:
Ollie and his sister (the dreamsicle kids) lived next door, but outside. We fed them due to the winter weather, and fell in love. Each morning as we went out with food for all the strays, they would come running and sing and dance for breakfast. Ollie started showing up alone, and alas it turned out that his beloved sister had been run over. We were all heartsick, and it was decided that Ollie must come inside. However, Olive had just passed due to leukemia, and Moemoe was still waiting for his aids/leukemia retest, so we had to wait. All our cats were in love with him, but Erniepie was the most concerned, fetching me daily and howling for me to bring some food outside to 'the baby', and watching him through the window. When we got the okay from the vet, we got his shots and had his 'pocket picked', and he came inside to take his place in the tribe of Moe. Ernie is his papa, since he was so in love and took ownership (so to speak), and Henry is the big brother he needed - they are inseparable, and sleep in a big bunch. Since Moe passed, Ollie has been a tireless source of love and happiness, and we are truly blessed to count him as family. more to come...
