Arrival Story: I should have realized it by the way he acted the day I found him at the Humane Society.
As I looked at a cage full of kittens and their Mother, I was about to look elsewhere because of the lackluster look of the litter when, from the back of the crowd, a smaller than the rest little critter pushed forward, approached the bars of the cage, climb up a bit and meowed a tiny "Wassup?"
It was love at first sight. :-D
I took him home to be a companion to my old yellow Warrior and the 3 short months they were together, before he passed on, taught Nikita a lot and livened up the once lonely life of the Old Man...

Nikita's Home in The CatBlogosphere: Daddy is a caring and loving person who takes very good care of my every need.
I also like that he has encouraged me to join him as co-blogger on his Blog, Musings of a Mad Macedonian.
All my postings appear in their own archive that acts as "Blog Within the Blog".
He even allows me my own Blogroll, to which I have added a link to Catster so he can easily find the place when ever he wants to visit here.
Nikita's Place is my Home in the CatBlogosphere.

The local paper, the Orange County Register, has an annual contest where the humans submit pictures of their Cats, and then they, and any human who wants to, vote on their favorites. ;-D
The contest just began today, and runs a month.
Daddy entered me!
Neither of us know what the prize is for the top 10 vote getters, but it's bound to be something cool. ;-D
I've had an eventful month already and after a week recovering I'm ready to return to regular blogging, and to Catster as well. ;-D
The greatest weekly event in the Cat Blogosphere comes to Musing of a Mad Macedonian and my Blog within the Blog, Nikita's Place, on March 30th (March 31st if I get overwhelmed by lots of submissions!)!!
What is this event?
Well, a long time ago, in a year far away, the immortal Laurence Simon became known as "King of the Cat Bloggers" for starting the Carnival of the Cats.
His idea was for a weekly confab of the best of the week’s cat blogging posts about cats from bloggers all around the world.
People who normally blog about anything and everything, as well as emerging community of cat bloggers, enter their week’s best cat related blog posts into the carnival.
For those who rarely share stories about their cats, it’s a vacation from blogging about such things as politics, war...and knitting.
I like how Laurence explains it: This is a way of "demonstrating that even the mightiest and meekest of pundits have a love of cats in common."
For us Cat Bloggers the Carnival is a chance to discover blogs we might never have heard of, on subjects of all kinds.
When Time Magazine takes notice of you, and of the growing Community you are a part of, as they did Laurence and his Carnival, then you know your effort, and the world you are helping spread the word about, are making an important impact in the lives of people, and Cats, everywhere.
I've written an Announcement Post that explains more, including my plans for My Edition, plus how Cat Bloggers, and Diarists, too, can submit entries.
In that post I've also told those in the Cat Blogosphere who may not be aware of it of Catster, and its Community of Diarists (Oh, and Dogster, too!)
