Arrival Story:
Macha came from the Morris Animal Refuge in Philadelphia. I went there hoping to find the perfect all-black kitty. There were a few wonderful candidates at the shelter, but I was distracted from them by the caterwauling coming from a cage on a bottom row. Inside was a scrawny, bedraggled calico, clawing at the bars and screaming at the top of her congested little lungs, "Take me home! Now!" So, I did. Macha is no longer scrawny, but she's still feisty, friendly and LOUD.
