Arrival Story: JuneLee came to my attention when I responded, as a Police Officer, to an "animal problem" . When I arrived I saw him and some of his sibs running around a yard, they were fine, but one sib was caught in a cars belt system, in the motor. The owner of the car and and kittens asked me to take one of the kittens running around, as she was sure they would all end up dead. So after work I went back to the place where the kitten died under the hood of the car and picked out a tall lanky and very playful...June Lee.

Bio: June Lee has gone over the Rainbow Bridge..we will iss him!
He is neutered and has his claws. He lives both inside and out...out as much as he wants in the summer (he has his own doors)...but inside most of the winter (I can't keep the cold out if I leave him access to outside). He does not like dogs much and really doesn't take well to other cats, but greets strangers (people) like they have come to see him. So far he's been an independant and healthy cat. He's a good mouser and maybe to good at catching birds. No stray cats come in our front yard either,... so we have a house for them out back, beyond the dogs play yard (that JuneLee doesn't know about).

I had to be euthanised. I let myself in and out of the house with a cat door. I usually go outside when the dogs come in, or I go to the basement. But my dad let the dogs in and I was trapped downstairs with them and he didn't know it and he went upstairs. Morocco attacked me and broke my legs to say the most obvious, but it was bad all the way around. I've been around here and independant several yrs (12!) and life all busted up was not going to work out for me, in a house full of stray cats and dogs. Morocco is not going to ever stop going after me, we have been number one enimies since the day he showed up (4 yrs ago?). I'm in a better place now! No strangers, no cold weather, no more hiding.

The cat room has youngsters in it again. All girls too. Autumn (the pissy three legged cat), Zelda (all black), Tommy Boots (grey and white), and Bullete (yellow tiger). Bullete is so small. Well these girls are noisy! and they want to eat all the time....wow. Anyone want a cat?

That's what's happened, the people have gone crazy. We went through 6 kittens in about two months...bringing them in, doctoring them up and adopting them out. Just when all were gone except Autumn..oh yeah she's back, she did not fit into her her foster situation..."they" (my family) brought in three more kittens from three different locations. These kids MEOW all night long! :) I just leave the house, the people are the ones stuck listening toi it. I have to admit, ...the kittens are beautiful! but two of them are kinda sick, one since being fixed the other has a lung infection (that was noticed weeks ago while it lived on a trail, feral). Oh and these new girls were ferals. I'll add their pictures! They seem to be fitting into a people family pretty good. OK later...I gotta go watch the front sidewalk. Love June Lee
