indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: Whiskers was the only kitten at the pound that day who was by
herself in a cage. She looked kind of lonely and sad so we decided
to bring her home with us.We adopted 7 week old Samantha on the same day figuring they would grow up together and be best friends. Ha! Not quite. After 7 years together at best they tolerate each other on a good day. On a bad day the fur flies! Still, that was nothing compared to the hell that broke loose when we brought Littel-Bit into the picture. She was such a cute tiny little kitten I thought she would bring out the girls' maternal instincts. Boy,was I ever wrong! It was less trouble introducing our dog into the household. They do seem to have finally reached an uneasy truce , tho, and I have even caught all three curled up together on the same bed (rarely but it does happen) Bio: She was 14 weeks old when we got her and I am told she is called a
pastel calico. She loves people and is very affecionate but she does
not like any other cats or animals. She might be the smartest of our pets. Whenever we are getting ready to go on vacation and she sees the suitcases by the door, she has her own very special way of letting us know she is not pleased. She goes straight to the litter box and digs furiously like a dog until it is completely empty and litter is scattered all over the floor. Last time she managed to do this three times before we got out the door! We only had time to sweep it up twice or it could have been even more. I hated to leave it for the petsitter but we did have a plane to catch. Luckily once we are gone she stops or I might find it hard to get anyone to look after my Pets!
