Favorite Nap Spot:
On our porch, or on my lap when the weather is cold. In the house, he likes to sleep with me, against my face.
Favorite Food:
Dry cat food, grass, and swimming pool water. He will not eat anything else! One time I placed a piece smoked salmon on his cat food, and he ran off.. and since the salmon tainted his dry food, he wouldn't eat that either! He is so silly...^_^
Skills:
Shao Hwang is really good at getting my attention. Just the sweetest thing ever.

Arrival Story:
My family adopted him and his older brother at the shelter. His older brother ran away and never came back. Shao Hwang was so sad.. but he adjusted and now he's buddies with our other pet, Shao Shong (dog). Shao Shong has her own page on dogster. Shao Hwang likes to rub up against Shao Shong, but she's rather indifferent and jumps away. Despite her negative reaction, Shao Hwang remains unoffended.

Hi everyone,
With lots of rest and quiet time, I feel much better today already. When I was let out of my cage this morning, I ran onto the hills like a free spirit! I feel wonderful, and having had breakfast, I followed my master on a nice morning stroll.

Good morning everyone. I woke up this morning, and when my guardian let me out of the cage, I didn't immediately run out. Instead I stayed in the cage (resting in the dog house). I didn't eat my cat food today either. I only came out of the cage when my main guardian (Claire) came to the backyard and called my name. I love her so much... I had to get up and greet her. My fur is also really ruffled today, not to mention my face appears swollen a bit. Could it be the cat nip I ate yesterday? Food poisoning from that maybe? I did eat a piece of honeydew melon. I like fruit alot, especially watermelon. Anyway, I hope to feel better soon. If not, my guardians may take me to see a doctor.
