After reading an article in the newspaper for cats, I had to go check em out. When we arrived there were only two kittens left to choose from, Cammy and a bob-tailed kitten. Cammy looked at my husband, and he said "let's take her!" It took Cammy some time to adjust to her new home and new sibling, Simba. Eventually Cammy's spunk came out and now they are best buddies.
Bio:
Cammy is the sweetest girl. Her big, green eyes show so much emotion and you can see the looks of love she gives to us, especially her daddy. She loves to eat, which is why she "scuttles" when she runs. Although she has gotten chunkier, it only makes her that much more adorable. Cammy is also known as the "foot patrol" - it is impossible to sleep with your feet under the covers when Cammy is on patrol - BEWARE!

Maybe I don't like the new GIRL in the household. Consider it a catfight and it's pretty sexy, isn't it? HAHA, just kiddin'! But I do think that having Maisy is good for me because I am constantly having to fight with her and put her in her place - but I also run around and chase her thru the house, she's a stubborn lil scaredy cat, tho. I have to give it to her, she doesn't give up and fights for her fun. I love that I'm starting to get my chin back and the bell shape of my belly is starting to slim down. Maybe this kid is just what the doctor ordered! ...hopefully I can get off this prescription very quickly!

A new puppy came to the house the other day. She is cute but she is still a DOG. My maternal instinct tells me to protect the men of the house from this little pup. I know she is small but she will grow to be lots bigger than us! My parents are always worried about the puppy encountering me because I used to bully Cypress, the AmStaff, who used to live here too. Cypress was a lot bigger than me, but I would do anything to make sure all us felines were safe. I'm a pretty laid back girl, and I am a Daddy's Girl, so I really miss hanging with the family - and I am also scared because Maisy is a Daddy's Girl, too. Hopefully we will get to the point of being able to hang out in the same room, because I don't want my title taken away from me!

Wow, how is it that I live with 2 male cats but I'm the one protecting our territory from Cypress? I am constantly in stare down standoffs with this dog, and the boys sit back and wait in the background - as backups, never the attack mode! I'm usually so patient, caring, and loving but when it comes to a big dog invading my safe space, I cannot sit back and hide in my own room. I just hope that one day we can all be friends. I see other cats & pitbulls on dogster.com or catster.com that are best buddies, so I've got faith.
