Arrival Story:
Blackie was found on a garbage can while looking for an apartment. She was bleeding and could barely move. We wrapped her in a towel and took her to our fantastic vet. He determined she had been cut with a knife down her middle. She underwent surgery and it was a long slow road to recovery. It has taken her over 3 years to move around the house in the day time. But as you can see now, she is fat and sassy and purrs like an outboard motor.

She is doing as well as she will ever be...still a bit secretive, but she has lots of love and acceptance...she is in love with her MADDY
