Arrival Story:
His parents were rescue farm cats. (And were a little older than they appeared, so we didn't get them fixed in time) Spotty was conceived on the basement stairs, and born in the bathroom.
Bio:
Spot has mega bad Karma. Anything that could go wrong has for poor Spotty! He was only six months old when he was shot by a macho Hunter of House Cats. Spot's own vet came out of retirement to amputate the shattered leg (and repair his broken breast bone) on New Years Eve. There is nothing that any cat can do that Spotty can not do. He is a great hunter, he rolls the mice flat with his stump! He is also the most devoted and loving feline we have ever encountered. We fear that in his last life he did something VERY evil, and is working off a lot of bad karma in this life. Considering what has already happened to him, he will undoubtedly be reborn a prince!

Whoa! My humans read my diary! I know this because the Woman came over and APOLOGIZED! She says that this house is technically mine, because I have indigenous rights (Having being born in the bathroom). And since this is my house, I can never be exiled from it! No matter how annoying I get! She says she was wrong to threaten giving me away, and begs me never ever ever again to tell the internet world how meanly she teases me... Wow. This diary is POWERFUL! I'll use it to send subliminal messages to my [feed spot] humans and see if [feed spot now] it works! Purrrrs! [feed me!]

Oh, no! I heard the Woman talking on the phone today and she was telling the Secretary that she's giving me away to someone (ANYone) for Christmas! She says I'm too sweet and too cuddley and getting annoying...
Maybe she's getting tired of a big rule around here: if you're human and sitting, your lap needs a purring Spotty Dotty on it. Or maybe she's sick of this other rule: if I can reach your face, I'm head butting it. Or how about this one: if I can reach your leg or arm, I'm going to rub on it and count it as a pet in my 100 pets per day quota program.
Or maybe she's just tired of way my whip like tail frequently mis-fires while I'm sticking my butt in her face, and my tail goes up her nose. Or maybe it's that I have a hard time balancing and when I try standing on someone or climbing on someone, I gotta use my claws. Maybe it's my dander. Secretary and the Sister say I need washing like once a month or even they get watery eyes from my dander...
Noooo, I think the reason she's mad at me is that I like to jump on peoples' shoulders and ride them around. I used to do it as a kitten and everybody would say "Aww so cute!" Now they just say, "NOOO! SPOTTT!!"
Usually when she says something like that she follows it up with, "No, Spot! You're indigenous to the house. You're not going anywhere." Maybe she just forgot to say it. In any case, I might be losing my home for being too loving! Oh, no!!!!!!!
