Everything! He's the happiest little guy. He began life in our family by watching the computer screen and flying.

parking lots, cold, rainy nights, headlights, exhaust fumes.

Favorite Toy:
His cube. His long straws. His bouncy toy. Anything Granny says is off-limits

Favorite Nap Spot:
Laps. In his cube.

Favorite Food:
He eats Iams with treats of junk food.

He retreives. Carter will tell you where his lost toy is. Loves to Climb. Has been known to knock framed pictures off the wall.

Arrival Story:
WRITTEN BY ORIGINAL RESCUER, Hoo-man Sister to OLIVER WINSTON PARSONS CAT: Mid December, Carter (original name: Sgt. Carter) was found with some nice gals at the local walmart...they said they found him in the parking lot eating ramen noodles. they could not keep him for they already had an abundance of furbabies so.....because the next day was my grandmother's birthday and I was sortakinda a little bit looking around for a kitty for her but very nonchalantly and she told me that she loves loves LOVES tabby cats...and this was so totally a classic mackrel tabby, well I thought maybe he could just come stay for a night and if they liked eachother then great and if they didn't, well, anyplace is better than a parking lot on a dark night. So the next night, at the birthday party, my Granny's best friend surprised her from out of town, THEN...when the party was about over, Sgt. Carter greeted her and it was love. YAY!!!!

The meeting of Granny & Carter was successful. Carter has been living a great life at Granny & Grandpa's house. He is their first kitten in almost 20 years, they are enjoying everything about him. Since they do not have computer access, Carter's Catster will be conducted by OWP's mama.

Catster sent me birthday wishes this morning.

What a surprise!! Since I'm still purrrty new, I didn't know about birthdays.

They seem like alot of fun. Last night my hoo-man sister brought me lots of new toys. I got a big green tunnel to crawl around in & run through and if I slow down, I may even nap on the fleecy inside.

And she brought me another I can have a cube in each room. Aren't I a lucky kitty?

Plus I got my first catnip toy!! It's long & tubular and I LOVE the way it smells. This thing is going to be my friend, I just know it.

While hoo-man sister was there I played fetch with her. Usually when she comes to see me she trims my toenails....I don't really like that even though I let her do it. Last night she didn't even touch my toes.

So far.....a PURRRRRRRFECT birthday.

Day three

I have learned how to pounce on sleeping feet. That's payback for them clipping my claws at the needlepeople place. I have also learned how to disconnect radio wires to reallly annoy my sleeping purrmama. Don't they realize they should sleep when the sun's up?! I'll be the one prowling tonight. Thanks to all who've given me special rosettes and snowflakes.

day one

today I left my halfway house to be with my furever people. After leaving my cozy office, they shoved me in a little box and took me to the needlepeople. They said I was a perfect example of kitten and that I would grow to be great big and healthy. I guess their complements compensated for the needles. ouch! so then my new people took me to the new house. WAY BIGGER than my office. but there are less keyboards and I really like keyboards. That's okay, I will find other things I'm sure by which to amuse myself. By composing this diary I will keep track of my adventures for my hopefully very very long life. stay tuned. This is Carter signing out.
