Arrival Story:
Pulling up to a motel in the Southeast late one night during the drive home from a vacation, my husband and I both see the glowing eyes of a very scared kitty beaming in our headlights. She was cowered in a chair inside the lobby of the motel and , according to the owner of the building had been left over a week ago by some guests who checked in with her and left without her.She was timid but extremely friendly and had her nails recently trimmed. So we took her to our room and fed her milk and tuna bought from the gas station mart across the street. She was so dehydrated and thin that she drank and drank and ate very quickly. Then she disappeared. The next morning we couldn't find her anywhere in the room. We were just about to leave and go outside to look when I made my husband lift up the box under the platform bed and there she was, grateful to have been rescued yet again. We took her home and all hell broke loose.

Bio:
This was tha era we not-so -fondly recal as "The Pissing Wars" . The sudden addition of a female cat to our 4-male cat household set off a chain of urine marking that eventually led to th removal of our carpet, subfloor, and portions of our walls. Over a year later there is peace in the kingdom, all lines have been drawn in the kitty litter, and all treaties signed. Lobby, named for her original unfortunate residence, has made best friends with our loveable FatCat and the two are inseperable. Each night I watch the "skinny ad Fatty Show" which takes place in various impromptu locations throughout the house and invlove lots of licking , romping, and general cat silliness.
