Arrival Story:
She was an extra-special surprise 2007 Christmas present (got her on Dec.23, 2007). My kid sis Christina called me, saying "Desi" was home and wanted to pop by to see me. Since I have a neice named Desiree (Desi for short), I naturally thought that my neice was home from her Hawaiin vacation. A short while later, my sis and mom showed up at my front door with a Maine Coon kitten named Desi, that they got from the Surrey Animal Rescue and Adoption Society. Little Desi is the best Christmas present I've ever gotten!

Its August 20th, 2008, and I'm a whole year old today! I'm celebrating with new toys, catnip, catnip-scented bubbles, and a Fancy Feast gourmet cat food "cake". Wheee!


Back Home from Spay Surgery

I had my spay surgery yesterday afternoon, and I came home late last night. Boy, did I ever feel awful! I felt so groggy and weak, and all I wanted to do was sleep. I'm feeling a bit better today, but still tired and sore. Its that time of the month for mom, so she's not feeling to great either.
