Unwrapping Christmas gifts at Angel's House

"Meow, Meow.....it is Christmas, Mommy. Let's open presents! " Angel was already tearing the ribbons off and playfully batting the smaller gifts at the bottom of the tree. Shining little boxes wrapped with red and green paper bounced back and forth as she ran around in circles, Santa Claus, Reindeer & baby kittens smiling off the papers to tease the kitty.
"Use your teeth & nails," Mommy Rebecca urged her Angel Girl as the kitty was unwrapping a gift. "Just rip it!" she laughed.
Angel Girl did just that, ripped the paper with her nails and teeth and
beautiful little colored bells fell out and rolled on the floor.
"Jingle, Jingle," they sang to her as Angel chased them merrily.
There was a card enclosed in the box ...she read it with her pretty blue eyes and said it aloud to her Mom.
"Bells represent the sounds of love at Christmas time." Angel meowed..."Thank you Mommy."
"This one," Mommy urged and Angel unwrapped the next gift...
"A feather toy! Yes! I love this Mommy, we saw it in the kitty gift book!" Angel flipped on her back and had that feather high up in the air and catching it with her teeth on the way down...It's awesome, pawsome!"
Rebecca watched her cat lovingly. "Christmas is so much fun, she said . And fun is something we all need to grow up to be the best we can be."
"What's this one, Mommy!" Angel scampered overto the tallest present, the one wrapped in the Reindeer paper. "Help, I can't get it off! Now I am under the paper, how super wonderful all these ribbons are!
Rebecca watched her cat play with the ribbons for a few minutes and then gathered them up to put away safely so her precious kitty would not get choked or entangled in them . "Here, let Mommy help you," and she helped Angel tear the paper off the tall gift. "Look, what Santa has brought you Angel!"
"A Cat Tree! Angel exclaimed..A cat tree..I can't believe my eyes!"
"This is great! We finally have a cat tree.
Mommy smiled. "This is going to be such a good thing for you, Angel Girl. Exercise, fun, entertainment, training, all in one gift. I am so happy you like it. And, the best part for me will be watching you !
Rebecca clapped her hands together, "Yes, a kitty cat tree at last!.
"Now Mommy," Angel purred. "Let me give you your present."
"Oh, I am so excited, Rebecca held the sparkling red box to her and unwrapped it . "Oh my cats! She uncovered a little gold frame with a picture of Angel girl with a Christmas hat on. "So precious, exactly what I asked Santa for. This is so special, it is a furrever gift! Photos are such wonderful presents , sharing memories with each other in years to come. "
"I am so happy you like it Mommy, " Angel sat back on her back feet and purred at Rebecca again.
Rebecca scratched Angel Cat's ears and nose gently.
"I love you so much, Angel Girl. You are my best present of all!
"Meow.....Meowowwwww...Angel nudged Mommy chin.
"Merry Chistmas Mommy.!
"And Merry Christmas to you Angel Cat!" Rebecca hugged her cat.

And, they both chimed out together as Mommy held Angel at the window to look at the lighted street below.
