Going out on to the balcony. She will play with blinds & vocalize until I go crazy & give in to her by opening the door for her. Would love to play with the end of the feather stick if only her brother would allow it. He thinks its all his.
Pet-Peeves:
Anytime I sing and dance around the house. She especially hates it when I sing/hum along to the Battlestar Galattica theme song! Glares at me. Being cleaned by Pooky for too long. Initially, she revels in it but as he becomes more aggressive - its war!
Favorite Toy:
The TV. She has a favorite DVD called the Cat Sitter. It has segment loops of mice, birds, squirrels. She chortles & bats the tv. Pooky bites her butt 'cause he's annoyed & knows they're not really there. Runs in at the opening Law & Order da-dum sound.
Favorite Nap Spot:
My heating pad. My room heater. She'll be right there on the bed in front of the room heater with Pooks. I get the cold part of the bed. Boxes. Macy's paper bags. My clean clothes, my black clothes & anything I deem important.
Favorite Food:
Cat treats! Makes a chirping racoon cry just for her beloved treat. Despite being "pudgy" she eschews human food. Loves the goat milk they get in the morning and at night. Loves hand picked wild grass (my cats are part cow).
Skills:
She will jump and climb to any height to get and rip open a bag of kitty kookies. She deposits furry mouse toys in my purse and my makeup bag. They're a special gift for me to find. Humorless people at work don't get it when I pull one out. Makes me smile

Arrival Story:
I had adopted her brother from some REALLY irresponsible pet owners in my complex (they never spayed their little young female which had litter after litter until she passed away). They would put each litter into their backyard/parking lot when they tired of the kittens' cuteness. Pet lovers in complex tried to do something by taking her in. But they would come over and pound on my neighbor's door, demanding her back. We all drew the conclusion that they thought they were being insulted. They were violent people and the police had other concerns with them. After a month and half and after my beloved Turkish Van Damaen had passed away, I was able to convince them to let me take her in. Siggy and Pooky's father is the hugest orange Maine Coon and cat I had ever seen. He can be seen big as day way down a block and a half. Siggy took to indoor living completely. She adores her brother and her creature comforts - milk, heaters, brushings, manicures, catnip and fuzzy blankets. Even at the end of it - "spa" treatments. She despises small litter boxes, being a "super furry" girl. She's kind of like a racoon 'cause she's brown-red, much wider at the hips and has this velvety black fur under her paws and black pads. She never tries to leave by jumping onto another balcony and won't ever be parted from Pooky.
Bio:
When happy, she race until she gets momentum, jumps in the air and does a near 360 heliocopter. Defends her brother Pooky from a renegade teenager cat called Garfield who breaks into people's apartments. When he comes in, he hisses at us and bats Pooky about the face. Siggy runs him out the door & chases him til he goes crying back to his mama! Even though Pooky is the alpha. Siggy dreams constantly of food while making eating and smacking sounds. She likes to sleep next to herself against the mirrors, loves to hang out in the bathroom sink and cries when she finds herself alone for too long. Oddly enough she comes running when I call Pooky's name while Pooky never deigns to. Come to think of it... doesn't Pooky sound like cookie?!?!

How about MY pet peeves? I let the cats sleep with me... and then about 3 am and they initiate a Search and Destroy game that has 15 pd cats flying around the room! It's a dilemma
when it's cold.
