Ramses Ramblings...

Okay, so no idea why momma hadn't started me a diary before - what am I, chopped liver??

I love momma though have gotten a bit more timid with strangers as I've gotta older. It's Sophie's fault - she keeps attacking me when I'm not doing nothing! (okay, so she also does it when momma says "No, Ramses" like when I'm trying to get some action or eating the plant, but I swear that dog has it in for me!).

I tend to hang out upstairs more than the other cats around here, though also still love to stretch out on momma's desk while she is working or on the ottoman in the family room so I can look out the window and bask in the sun.

Those kittens sure get a lot of fuss....

Just because my babies are adorable (duh!), they seem to get all the dang attention around here! I have to plop in the middle of Momma's chair or lap to get some quality cuddle time lately. Doesn't always work - she boots me out of the chair a lot - but I try!

About time!

I don't know why I'm the last one to get a diary around here! Here I am the man of the house (well me and my buddy Shelby) and I'm the last one to get some notice!

I've been rather busy with my ladies - when my humans named me Ramses (after Ramses the Great) they forgot he fathered over 100 children in his lifetime! I've so far fathered 11 but give me time!

Only problem with all these babies is that it doesn't give a guy a lot of alone time, you know? I discovered a new spot though - the plant ledge above the laundry room is over 7 feet up and I discovered I can jump down to it from the railing above and no one can bother me there! I can even jump back to the railing on my own (Kali has to have help when she gets there).

I still love sleeping on Momma Lori's chest like I did when I was little - though I guess sometimes I get a little too close and she says something about not being able to breath...not sure what she means. It's not like I'm *that* much bigger than I was!

I also love her nice warm desk chair - though she rarely lets me stay in it! Something about having to get work done so she picks me up, kisses me and puts me back down (which is why I do it between you and me :) )
