Arrival Story:
I hadn't entirely decided that I was ready for a cat, but went to the SPCA to look at the kittens that they had. I arrived and Corin was hanging out with her brother in one of the cages. She kept wandering to the front of the cage, and annoying her pushy brother. I knew then that she would be just perfect. She was just so darn cute, friendly, and seemed to know that she was the one for me. She was very happy to meet me, and made me instantly fall in love with her.

Bio:
Corin has a brother and a sister, and all were adopted from the pound on the same day. Her full name is Corin Sofonisba Anguissola Fisher, after her mommy's favorite artist. Although it is quite a large name, I think that she will grow into it.

My Life by Corin

The world revolves around me!

So, it seems that the world revolves around me. My mommy wakes up specially to feed me every morning. And although I tell her not to every single time, she does go out the door in the mornings. But she always comes back and gives me a great big hug. She even feeds me special wet food every night. I do have to remind her sometimes, but she eventually realizes that she has forgotten. Another reason why I know the world revolves around me is because my mommy gives me mousies every day. I do hide them under the couch, but the fact that she gives me a new one to play with whenever I ask just shows that I am the queen of this household!

Day Two

Today, Momma did not get up on time to feed me! She just rolls over when I tell her that I am hungry. I can't believe that she won't feed me at 5:00 a.m. For some reason she thinks that a 7:00 a.m. feeding is okay. Can you believe that? she seems to think that she runs this household. But I live here! And I am more important than everyone else in this home! If my tummy is rumbling, I need to be fed. It doesn't matter what time it is. It could be 3:00 a.m., but when I want to be fed I have to be fed. I'll show her, who is queen of this house. I am planning a surprise attack for later on tonight. Then, she will know that I am the ONLY queen of this household!

Day One

Today, is the first day of my diary.

Of course, I don't know how to type, so I convinced Helen to type for me. Now, I just have to keep my nose out of her ice cream. For a little while at least. (I do have to have someone to dictate to)

Anyways, today my owners decided to get up late. Don't they understand that I get fed at 7:00 a.m. every morning? I watch the clock all night long, and am ready to eat. But they don't seem to understand that they should be doing whatever I tell them! I don't see why they don't get up and play with me either. It's not like they do anything important. They only leave through the front door, and arrive home eight hours later. Maybe someday I will go with them. That probably will be more exciting than sleeping all day.
