indoors Arrival Story: We knew we wanted a cat and looked at the animal shelter several times. I knew that I wanted a girl, long-haired kitten that was anything but tabby. Well the last time we went to the shelter they had a cage of several almost grown "kittens". There was a tabby one laying in the back that was just looking up at me. He was getting picked on by the other cats so I felt sorry for him. I got him out and he played with a hanging string as I held him, it was so cute. I just knew even though he wasn't a girl, he was short haired, he was nearly a cat instead of a kitten, and he was a tabby.... he was our kitty. We've had him for a year and a half now and well as it turns out that getting picked on was something he planned to get us to feel bad for him because he's a mean little turd!
