Arrival Story:
I adopted her from the local animal shelter and the vet said then that she was aprox 12 years old. She had hepatitis and was hospitalized for a week, but now she's a wonderful old lady (16 years) with artritis and a great grumpy personality that loves to be petted behind the ears and that always wants the food bowl full of kibble.

Bio:
Lucy passed away today (July 14, 2007) at the age of 19 due to an agressive cancer that we just found out less than 2 months ago. Until the end she was the sweetest cat that you ever met and never lost her appetite! I had the duty to take her to the vet´s office to be put to sleep and was one of the hardest thing I ever done. Her ashes will be scattered on my uncle´s grave who was the person that gave her nickname "Gatota", that´s Big Cat in Spanish. My confort is that she didn´t suffer, that I was with her until the last minute and that now she´s with my uncle in the Rainbow Bridge. God Bless her soul.
