Arrival Story:
We went to the shelter on the grounds that I would be getting a girl cat. Kitten, adult, didn't matter - as long as the cat was female. As we walked up to the shelter I could see a beautiful orange tabby cat sitting in a window cage of their front room. Excited, I decided then and there THAT was the cat I wanted - there was just something about how confident he sat there, as if he was on top of the world! My mother told me we would walk through the shelter first because I might see another cat I'd like, and so we did. The entire time my thoughts kept going back to that beautiful tabby in the window though, and after walking through the place my mother finally let me go meet the tabby. When we found out the cat was a male, I was crushed..my mother had said no males, and that was final..or so I thought. He shared the cage with his other siblings, two beautiful kittens - one black male, one blue female. My brother was with us that day, and each of us got to hold a kitten, when it was my turn to hold the orange tabby and he snuggled up to me I just knew at that very moment that he WAS the one I wanted, even if he was a male. So that day, I went home with him.

Bio:
Milo was a crazy cat as a kitten, which is why he's named Milo..after the Milo in Milo & Otis! I remember him tearing through his cage at the shelter, terrorizing his siblings and knocking everything over. He was spunky, and I loved it! He stayed that crazy kitten for a long time before my grandparents taking Mama Kitty crushed him. He's still that wild kitten when he wants to be, but now he's also my grumpy old man. Milo is a large cat, not fat, just tall. He's also a softy, and has never bit or clawed me out of annoyance, and despite how much Aimi drives him insane, he's a big softy to her too. He isn't afraid to stand up (literally!) to Aussie mix Takoda though.
