12 Things Red Cats do when there is nothing to do:

We know we are special. Red cats, especially we red gals, are really different and fun fun fun to live with and love. If you have never been owned by a red cat I highly suggest it! Meanwhile, here are 12 things that Red Girls do when they have nothing else to do:

1. Follow your person around and bat at her slippers.
2. Pounce on your person's food. Bat at her hand if she won't let you have some. Bite her sleeve if she still says no.
3. Sit on top your person's 'important' papers. You may shred them with your claws if you wish.
4. Run around chasing shadows until your person (who is doing 'very important things') laughs at you.
5. Run in front of your person's feet while they are walking toward the kitchen, the place where all good things come from!
6. Bat at your sister, brother, (or MY sister, really, go ahead!) until your person says "Oh, Rose!" in that funny voice that really means that she is not mad at you at all.
7. Steal all the pens and pencils in the house and use them for toys. Storing them under the refridgerator is always a good choice. After all, what do cats need them for anyway?
8. Wake your person up when ever you are hungry and she is sleeping. Look innocently at her as if you do not realize it is 2am.
9. Store your toys inside your persons outside shoes and do not tell her.
10. Drag spiders onto your persons laptop and leave them twitching there on the keyboard. Always good for a shreak or two... MOL
11. Lay on your person's lap, anytime that she is looking really busy and jumpy. This is done purrly for love :)
12. Make your person sound as if they are going to throw up a fur ball (but they call it laughing). You can do this by doing any or all of the things above. MOL

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!

Today is my 8 month old birthday. I, Rose, have made up a real live poem for my birthday. Isn't that great? Here is is:

Rose's Birthday Poem, by Rose 8 months old today.

Rose, Rose, Rose
My name is Rose;
My fur is Red
My Eyes are gold;
Today is my birthday
I am 8 months old;
My days are filled
with discoveries life holds;
Like:
I love the water
when it is cold
(but don't give me a bath
I'll be too hard to hold).
I leap on ceiling beams
because I am bold;
I bite my mom's papers
and leave "Morris Code"
(but, it's just love bites
so please don't scold).
Turkey necks are great
and are made to be stoled;
But, naughty Danu
ran to Mommy and told
(for which I was forced
to bite Danu's toes).
Now Mom's in the kitchen,
looks like a can that she holds.
(yum)

Holiday Wiskers, I mean wishes..

I was tagged for my Holiday Wishes.

Here are my holiday wishes for everyone:
I want:
1. every fur-person to find a wonderful furless person like mine.
2. all cats everywhere to have lots of friends
3. each kitten born to be a wanted kitten, loved in someone's heart and home.
4. lots of treats.
5 .Turkey necks for everyone! and water play time, lots of water play time.

Finally, I want every single furson that is my furriend or wants to be my friend to tell me what their holiday wishes are. Purrrr purrr purrr, reow!
