Arrival Story:
looking forwared to moving into a bigger house, I decided to get a friend for my beloved izabel. I went to the local SPCA and once lizzie caught my eye, I was hooked - she raised her little paw to the bars of her cage and tapped it softly as I walked by, as if she were beseeching me to take her home. how could I resist?

Bio:
when I first took lizzie home I was told she likely had "kennel cough", but later found she had a much more vicious respiratory infection. she was super scrawny (thereby earning the name "thin lizzie") and lethargic, and passed her illness onto my other cat, izabel. so I spent the first month plus force feeding her medicine several times a day - not an easy task for two cats, especially since lizzie was half feral! once she was better, though, she was a bit of a demon - every day I came home there was another new mess to clean up, she kept me awake most nights, and seemed to do nothing but cause trouble. she kept a good distance, never being overly affectionate or needy, but through it all she remained quite a sweetie. eventually, though, she settled into life indoors and has turned out to be the most even tempered, lovely cat imaginable. even unpleasant visiting cat guests have only seen her good side!
