indoors Arrival Story: My aunt is deathly allergic to cats but loves them, so when she saw baby Mauser cowering in an alleyway and crying she felt sorry for him. When she realized that he was straying farther and farther into the alley - which was used by cars as a street - she could see he was in danger and she coaxed him over to her with some of the fried chicken she and my uncle were eating. They brought him home and offered him to me. One of my buddies who lived in their area (LA) drove him up to me. Bio: January of 2004 Mauser came down with an unknown illness, dropped to 6 lbs and became drastically dehydrated. We ran $400 worth of tests but never figured out what he had. Loads of attention, some general antibiotics, and careful nursing brought him back to health and now he's fine. We never did figure out what he had, but the vet was about 80% sure he was about to die! Lives Remaining: 8 of 9 I've Been On Catster Since:
