Arrival Story:
My family and I had a hard blow when one of our cats, Samantha, was found murdered (she had been hung). It felt like there could be no recovery. Then, our neighbor came over one day and asked, " Would you like a cat?" My Dad quickly said no (he's said that to every cat we've ever had). There, on my neighbor's car, was a tiny little kitten that I fell in love with instantly. 'Lion King' was my favorite movie at the time and seemed to be an appropriate name. That night, My Mom warned me not to fall asleep with the kitten in my bed. I didn't mean to fall asleep; but when I woke up, Nala was sleeping right next to my head. She has been my girl ever since.

Bio:
When Nala came to live with us we had a huge Ragdoll named Peter No-Tail. We were afraid how he would react to the tiny kitten. He took right to her and would snuggle with her. Pete would be so patient when Nala would be playing and pouncing on him. But when Pete was finished letting her play...he would bop her once on the head. It was a five short months later that Pete decided to leave and pursue a career in modeling, we saw his picture on an advertisement in a "Cat Fancy" magazine.
