2009 Get to Know Your Pals Tag

I was tagged by Lancelot, who used to live in SoCal like me, but now lives in Spain, spreading the Orangeness across the Atlantic.

1) What color is your collar?
Collar? I don't wear no stinking collar. I'm au natural.

2) What kind of food do you eat?
I'm on a die-it, so i eat Purina Veterinary Die-it, OM (weight management) wet, and i eat Purina Pro Plan Weight Management dry. Sometimes when mama forgets to order my OM from the vet, i get the Pro Plan Weight Management wet.

3) What are your favorite treats?
Sigh. I can no longer have treats because of my die-it. But i love greenies, and i used to eat yogurt-covered raisins. I also like french fries and cheetos, but now cheetos make me barfy, so even if i wasn't on a die-it, i wouldn't get anymore of those.

4) Do you have a Valentine or significant other?
Does my mama count?

5) Do you get table scraps?
Sometimes my mama gives in and gives me a french fry. But not often (because she can't eat them often either).

6) What is your favorite toy?
I like the green fuzzy thing on the string. I also like whatever Hunter or Ozzy is playing with at the moment. I also like to chase Ozzy and swat him around like a toy.

7) When is your birthday?
Ooh, i think it was Monday as close as we can estimate. My vet sent me an e-card. I heart my vet. But we don't celebrate birfdays that much at my house.

8) How many times a day do you get to eat?
I get breakfast at about 4:30am, lunch at about 12pm, and dinner whenever my mama gets home from work. I get carefully measured meals in the morning and afternoon from the "automom" and i have to share with Hunter and Ozzy. For dinner i get either one little can of Pro Plan or half a big can of OM Die-et.

9) Do you have a favorite color?
I think my favorite color is Orange.

10) Do you hope all your pals put this in their diary?
Heck yeah! But i understand if they don't. Sometimes i get tagged and then i forget to post. I'm not as good as i should be about it.

I'm Picking the Steelers

My mama is about to head out to watch the Super Bowl. She's gonna leave the tv on so that we kitties can watch it here. I'm picking the Steelers because they're rough and tough and they take no prisoners-- just like me. Defense wins Super Bowls! Just like when Tampa Bay squashed the Raiders a few years ago (i forget which SB that was).

Dancing with Mama

This entry is about 3 days late, but i finally got Mama to take time out and type my diary for me.

I may have slept through the inauguration, but that meant that i was wide awake for the First Dance at the inaugural ball. That night, my mama watched as Beyonce' sang a classic by Etta James as the First Couple had their first dance and President and First Lady. I was kneading on Mama at the time, so she picked me up and we danced a long with the First Couple. At the end of the song, when Beyonce' started to get a little misty, so did my mama. So i nuzzled her neck and purred on her.

God bless our new President and our super awesome country!
