A Day in Simba's good life

I usually wake up around 7 or so...whenever dad gets up.I like to help him get ready for work,I am getting very good at tying his shoes!although he doesn't appreciate my help as much as he should...............after he leaves I get a dental tablet from Mom...my teeth are fine but she wants to make sure they stay that way,since I am not very cooperative about having my teeth brushed.
I spend the mornings on my window ledge in the den...watching the cars go by,staring at people who walk by and sometimes sitting next to Mom when she does computer stuff(I am not really allowed on her desk but sometimes she lets me)if I am very good I get a whiskas treat for lunch and then a nice ear scratch,which makes me sleepy.I sleep most of the day.
When it gets dark,it is time for me to trot.Dad gets home around 6 and heloves to play with me,so I always run to greet him at the door.We play our own version of laser tag or I play catch with him in my tomato box and then I watch television with my mom until bedtime.Sometimes I go to bed early,but most of the time I like to hang with my humans so I don't miss anything.
That's a day in the life of Princess Simba.I am spoiled but goodness,look at me.Wouldn't you spoil someone as completely adorable as I am?

The Vet's Office

I went to the vet today for a follow up visit.Boy,did I hate that place.My mom talked sweetly to me the whole time but I was on to her.I fought like a cat possessed....and managed to sink my teeth into the vet's hand when he gave me a shot.That showed him.They won't take me alive!
I now weigh 8 pounds and the vet said I am healthy and lovely,even though I was a handful.He told my mom she was doing a good job taking care of me.I agree...she is great,but I think she made a mistake taking me to that terrible place.I HATE THE VET.
Time for a good long nap...I am pretty tired after all that.After I wake up,I plan on finally ridding the world of the evil ficus tree....or I might just yank at the blinds a bit and see if I can finally break them.
Lots to do,lots to do......

I am so cute

Listen up Catster buds.....I learned the coolest trick today.When your mom walks into the kitchen,follow her.Make sure your ears are up and so is your tail..in other words,look adorable.When she opens a cabinet,meow in the softest,sweetest way you know how....voila!cat treats!works every time.
Had a nice long nap on the bed,until I was cruelly banished to the den.......but I had forgotten about my fabulous cat perch by the window.I had another nice nap there,then it was time to run through the house like an idiot.Mom played with me for awhile but I got bored and decided to yank the blinds open with my teeth.I am getting quite good at this.I have also gotten quite good at leaping into the verticals at imaginary ghosts.Scares my humans every time.
Time for another wander around the house to see what else I can get into.
